Once the shackles were removed, the heir rubbed his wrists. "What's your name, kid?" Tjruna asked.
"Helies." He answered. "Why did you rescue me?"
"Your uncle is paying for your safe return to the palace." his eyes went wide.
"No! You can't take me back there!" -
Dorvakin was surprised at Helies' reaction to returning home. He asked "What? Why?"

"My uncle sent me away for a good reason!" He said. He huffed and sat down, leaning against the side of the ditch. "My mother wouldn't tell me why, but I overheard the two of them talking. There's a spy in the court! Something to do with the former advisor." Tjruna thought about this for a bit, picking at some grass.
"So where were you going?"
"To some summer palace in the countryside. It was top secret." -
Dorvakin thought in his head So Trafalgar's tip was correct and then said "Then perhaps we could go there. But I wonder if the Blades will be on our tail if we try."

"They're definitely going to be." Tjruna removed the tunic and helmet. "As soon as they realize we locked their best guards in the dungeon."
"So you're not them?" Helies asked. Tjruna shook her head.
"I wouldn't be caught dead working for such an amateur operation." -
Dorvakin took off his helmet and said "Neither would I. These uniforms are way too tight." He then turned to Tjruna and asked "So what's our plan to get the kid to safety?"

Tjruna stared at Helies as she thought. "Wait a minute. You said that your uncle wanted to send you away from the castle for your safety. But the man who hired us said that the king was offering a bounty for your return to the castle. How do we know who to believe?"

Dorvakin said "This is an odd predicament. And come to think of it, how did the Blades know to attack us the first time? If the exitance and disappearance of Helies was kept a secret and we were told about it in secret, how did the Blades know we were trying to find him?"

Tjruna looked at Helies. "The leader, Cristus. He said he was trading you to those other people for money. Did he mention anything to you about that?" The boy shook his head.
"Ever since they ambushed us the only interaction I've had has been the guards bringing me food and water. They threw me in the dungeon immediately, I only saw the leader once!" Tjruna turned back to Dorvakin.
"Whoever these other people are, they must have some connection to the spy! This is more complicated than we were led on." -
Dorvakin said "Well, I'm open to suggestions on what to do next. Do we take the kid back to the king or to where he was supposed to go?"

"Wherever that is." She scoffed, then looked at the boy. "You really don't know where he was sending you?" He shook his head. "Hm... So it seems like taking him to the king is the only viable option... As dangerous as it may be... But we should rest here for the night."

Dorvakin said "I agree. Let's rest here and hope the Blades won't find us."

Tjruna nodded. "Do you have any food on you?"

Dorvakin said "I'm afraid not. I was hoping you did."

Tjruna sighed and cursed under her breath, grabbing a her dagger. "I'll see what I can do. You two stay here, get a fire started or something." She set off in search of good hunting.
