"I think he was more afraid of us than we were of him. Plus, he's with NEST now so he shouldn't cause any probl.." Adonis trails off as she notices Akumu sliding off of her and into a box. Her eyes light up as she starts hypothesizing what this could mean. "Perhaps he needs to refuel by being in total darkness."

“I’ll get the lights.” Danny said before running to pull down the light lever. He dashed towards it, slowed down then immediately came to an abrupt stop and tripped and fell on the ground. He hit his head on the ground pretty hard and slowly and dizzily stood up. “What the hell?” He tried to run again but ran at the pace of the average human. He flipped the switch off and ran back to his friends, out of breath. “Legs no go fast.” He said wheezing while grabbing his stomach and head. He couldn’t decide what hurt worse.

Alice said "Danny, are you okay?" She switched her eyes to owl eyes to see better in the dark. She looked at him in the dark and asked "Do you need something, like water, or aspirin?"

Yume glowed faintly in the darkness, and quickly went over to Danny in concern

"I think there's a drugstore nearby, I could get something to help with pain... that is, unless this is related to your powers." Adonis noted curiously. "Would medicine even help? I wonder what triggered this.." Adonis was letting her nerd side show yet again. "Your speech seems to have declined- from pain or from something to do with your electric skills... hmm."

Danny winced and tried to stand up. “My speech is ok, I just don’t feel right. Can’t move as fast. Come to think of it, I’ve felt weird since Angel’s house. The power went off and I haven’t felt good since then.” Danny tried to make a lightning bolt but all that could form was little sparkles, then nothing. “Cool. Now what?”

Alice asked "Power went out? Adonis, do you think he may have been affected by that EMP thing NEST used?"

Yume blinked "Danny you did say that your powers act like a battery, so it would make sense you where affected. Maybe you need to recharge?

Adonis was nodding at Yume and Alice's theories. "You did get struck by lightning that one time. Perhaps we can use something to shock or electrocute you. Is there a plug anywhere in this warehouse?" She asked him.

“ There’s a few, but I don’t think it’ll be enough to recharge me. We’d need something bigger, with higher voltage. “ Danny said breathlessly.

Alice asked "Like what? A car battery? A generator? A power plant? What is it you need?"

Yume frowned in thought and then started looking for something

"We shouldn't just go sucking electricity from a power plant. Pretty sure that's illegal, and from what I've seen superheroes don't really do illegal," Adonis said. It was strange referring to themselves as superheroes, but technically that's what they were.

“Maybe I can try an outlet.” Danny said. He walked in his grandfather’s office, and dug around in the drawers. He found a screwdriver. He made his way to an outlet and looked at his friends. “Let’s hope this works.” He jammed the screwdriver in and began to slightly convulse before settling down. He started to feel better the longer it was in there. The lights in the warehouse flickered for a bit before shutting off. “Talk about a kickstart. Damn, I feel a little better. Danny stood up and made his way to the power breaker and touched it and sent a small colt of electricity through it and the lights came back on. “I think I might’ve found a way to keep this place running without an electric bill.” Danny joked. “That helped, but I’ll need something more later on. Either that or more rest. So Akumu needs to recharge by darkness, Adonis needs sleep and I need to recharge like an actual battery. And I guess EMPs shut me down too. Are there any other problems anyone has noticed with their powers?” Danny asked waving his arms around.

Alice said "Deadpool does. But then again, he's not much of a hero." She then thought about her own power and said "I've noticed several times that whenever I try to mix animal powers, it doesn't work. If I think of two animals, I can either do one or the other, but not both at the same time."
