Avalon just shook his head and said "Can I just not have a nickname? I've never really liked having them."

Gineye tilted his head, the smile on his mask growing wider. "Whats funny is you think in joking. But dont worry, i dont make a habit of eating friends, without permission

Sin came back. “ alright the spell has been cast, but we should get going.” They said seriously, as they leaned against the wall to maintain it.
( Kat could I make a last second new character to join the group?) -
(That's fine with me. Would they be joining during or after the ship journey?)
Arwyn shrugged. "Fine with me. Here, go through this box and I'll search in the cabinets. It doesn't have to be earplugs exactly, maybe just some small cloth or something. It should be able to atleast muffle sound, and gotta have enough for everyone," Arwyn says, handing Avalon a random box to comb through.
Finn smiles at the fact that Gineye had called them friends. "Okay. That's fine, I trust you. What should I do, how does it work?" Finn asks. He'd never volunteered to be possessed before.
Aspen was the one to answer Sin, since he was the one manning the helm. "Give me a sec, geez. Being knocked off course by a giant monster doesn't exactly make my job easier." -
Avalon took the box and began looking through it. He found some pieces of cloth to clog their ears but not enough for everyone. He couldn't find anything else for earplugs but kept looking.

"Well," Gineye started, putting a hand on his chest, "Its really simple." He then procided to pull an Ax out of his chest. "All you need to do is hold this. Ill let you keep control, so ill just be sitting in the back of your head. Oh- i hope you dont mind wearing a mask, it just kinda appears on anyone im inhabiting"

Sin sighs. “ please be considerate of the fact that-aren’t you supposed to be good at this?” They ask. “ please ...just hurry up.” -
(I mean I don't mind either way. I guess they could be sailing on their own and they run into our team, but they'd have to have an excuse for being in the middle of monster infested waters. We could discuss this on discord if you want)
Arwyn also found a bunch of cloth, what looked like a stack of women's hankerchiefs. She was a bit confused at this, then she remembered who's ship this was. "You dirty old pig Banna. Collecting nymphs like trophies," Arwyn said with a disapproving shake of her head. "I think this'll be enough."
"I don't mind, your mask is really cool anyway!" Finn compliments before taking hold of the axe in his gloved hand.
"I don't really do considerate, but since you asked so nicely-" Aspen looked at a compass and made a few more adjustments to their course before he got them sailing straight and steady. -
Avalon said "I hope so, I can't find anything else to block ears." He then looked out onto the lake just to see if there was anything else about to come and attack them."

Gineye paused and tilted his head, seeming a little confused before making a small noise "you'll need to take your glove off. I need to be touching your skin

Sin hummed, “...,If we can’t find enough to plug our ears, maybe some of us could be tied down?” They suggest -
"Don't look so on edge, Av," Arwyn said to Avalon, blatantly ignoring his request to not have a nickname. "The monsters sleep too, I imagine that there aren't many out right now," Arwyn said reassuringly. She turned towards Sin and handed them two cloths as she said, "That's a good idea. Gineye has some rope, we can ask him after he gets done with Finn."
Finn smiles nervously, "Ah, okay." He says. Finn takes off one glove and uses that hand to grab hold to the axe. -
Avalon said "Yeah, but I have heard of nocturnal monsters and I just want to see if there are any."

Gineye grinned and then vanished in a burst of static, his mask forming on Finns face a few seconds later. He heard Arwyn and briefly took control to say "if you need rope i can do that while possesing someone, so just ask"

Sin nodded. “ I can’t be tied down. I’ve never tested sirens on my ...guests before. I’d be restrained but wrath could break out and damage the ship.”
