I thought i posted wtf?)
Gineye gave Finn an odd look, not that anyone could see it though his mask, before he moved to help get the ship going again -
"Well, we're well into the night at this point. And we started sailing around the afternoon, so we have atleast two days left.. That is, if we don't run into more monsters. But that doesn't seem likely, since this boat attracts them like a magnet," Arwyn answers Avalon.
"Thanks for healing me Sin," Finn says gratefully. He felt fatigued but he wasn't sure if it was right of him to ask to go to sleep while everyone else was working hard. As Finn thought about this dilemma, a drop of water fell onto his cheek. Then another, then another. It was beginning to rain. -
Avalon said "Well is there a way to go faster? Just so we don't keep being attacked? We got out this time but I have a funny feeling next time won't be so forgiving."
-
Gineye tilted his head up as it started raining, going still. He then looked at Avalon when he spoke "i could cast haste on the boat but i dont think that would help
-
(Bumpity bump)
-
Sin looked at Arwen guiltily. “ Sloth is...completely drained, they won’t be able to protect us for...I don’t know I’m sorry.” They say looking incredibly guilty at their physical ineptitude
-
Arwyn whips her head towards Sin and stares them right in the eyes, "Don't apologize. Especially not for something as uncontrollable as your physical limitations. It's not anyone's fault what happened here, and don't you forget that," Arwyn says sternly, then she turns back to Avalon and Gineye.
"That's actually a good idea, a hearty ol haste spell could cut our sailing time in half. The less time we spend on this godforsaken water the better," Arwyn says, nodding at Gineye. "Oh, and we should probably find something to plug our ears. We're gonna be hitting siren waters sometime tomorrow afternoon. If Gineye casts haste though then it's instead gonna be ... sometime during witching hours." Arwyn says as she thinks about the logistics. -
Avalon then asked "Gineye, can you cast a haste spell on the boat? Or does magic not work for inanimate objects?"
-
Gineye nodded and his eyes glowed brighter before he paused "uh. Im going to hage to re cast this a few times and ill run out of magic before we get there, so ill need to hijack one of your bodys for abit" he said as he cast the spell
-
“ ...hmm..I could cast a mental ward to help defend us against sirens, but it’s only as an excess, and we’ll still need to plug our ears.” Sin mumbles.
Sin looks at Gineye. “ Hijack mine, I have an excess amount of magic.” -
"I think that's enough magic for you today, Sin," Arwyn says, and for a fraction of a second her face flashes with some type of ... concern, but then she scoffs and says, "If you want excess magic then I nominee you hijack Magic Fire Mage here," Arwyn says to Gineye, and she motions to Finn.
"Oh, yeah, that's fine with me! Anything I can do to help," Finn says. He stands up and smiles with that heartwarming smile of his. Arwyn rolls her eyes. "Sinsory you go ahead and do your mental ward thing, me and Avs-a-lot can go find some earplugs, there might be something useful in the storage area," Arwyn says. -
Avalon said "Well then let's do it. No point just bobbing in the water." He then heard the name Arwyn gave him and asked "What does that mean?"
-
Gineye nodded "alrightly then, i promise i wont nibble on your soul while im there~" he said lightly
-
Sin nods and goes to prepare the ward. They take out some chalk and start to draw the needed symbols. You see, even with the beings sharing their body, Sin’s strongest power was working for the benefit of others,
-
As Arwyn and Avalon head to the inner part of the ship (I, katqueen, the person who decided to have them travel on boat, do not know anything about ship parts/names), she answers him, "I don't know. I used to be great at making nicknames. Guess I don't fraternize with people as much as I used to. How about Lonny? Or Val?" She asks.
Finn chuckles nervously. For the first time since traveling with this group, he realizes that he knew next to nothing about Gineye.. Finn trusted him though. After all, they all just wanted their wishes granted. They were allies. "Haha, very funny," Finn says, a bad attempt at sarcasm.
