Wrath did their best to steady both themselves and gineye. “ Are you alright?” They asked sounding concerned.
They glanced over at Finn to make sure he was still okay, they could attempt to have sin amplify his powers but they weren’t sure that would be advisable at the current moment. -
(Oh em gee roboticlus u don't have to call me out on my lack of middle age vocabulary XD)
Aspen frantically kicks his way to the surface and then sputters and coughs out the water he accidentally swallowed from the surprise dive. He hadn't even got to take a preparatory breath. Aspen was a terrible swimmer, he flailed around trying to grab hold of something.
"Finn that's enough godammit!" Arwyn's feet pound into the deck with loud thuds as she rushes over to where Finn is. His eyes are glowing white, and his hair moves around like snakes on his head. He's floating, and his arm is extended toward the creature, still shooting green fire. It doesn't look like he can hear her. Arwyn's jumps and tackles the mage.
"Ow.. Ow," Finn whimpers quietly, his eyes and hair suddenly back to normal. Arwyn gets off of him and dusts herself off. She then looks at the sea, and the devydra is sinking back into the ocean, making pained noises. She whistles, impressed at everyone's work. "Ok, now we gotta get movi- oh my god where is Aspen and Avalon?" -

(It was a joke. Plus its interesting, that's all.)
Avalon could soon see again and saw the devydra retreating. What he also saw was Aspen flailing near the boat. He said "Hang on Aspen, I'll save you." and swam to try and help. -
Gineye nodded at Wraths question, though there appeared to be some cracks in his mask. He heard splashing and ran over to the side of the boat "oh s--- you guys fell off" he said, sending his ropes down

Sin is once again given control, just in case anyone is need of healing, which appears to be pretty likely given the circumstances.

(I blame the fact that I couldn't think of anything else big to compare the devydra to, plus it was probably like 3am when I typed that)
Aspen latched onto Avalon as soon as he was close enough to grab onto. Instead of being grateful to the Naga for saving his life, he scowled and said, "Taking a swim while everyone fought off that beast? Tsk. Could've at least taken me along." Then he heard Gineye say something and the masked man started sending ropes down, so Aspen let go of Avalon and began to climb instead.
Arwyn's walks over by Gineye to help pull up the double A pair. Meanwhile, Finn sits up and puts his hands on his face, he has an expression of pure horror, like he'd just seen a ghost. It wasn't an expression that was normally seen on the smiling and happy go lucky boy. He seemed to be whispering something, but it was completely inaudible. "Sin, go deal with that while we get these idiots back up here," Arwyn's points at Finn. -
(That makes sense.)
Avalon grabbed Gineye's rope and said "My swim wasn't exactly voluntary. I was pulled by something. I couldn't see what it was." He then got Aspen up just as he got on the boat. He then asked "So what caused the devydra to go away?" -
"Probably Finn trying too burn it to a crisp" Gineye said cheerfully as his ropes vanished "but we should probably get moving before it comes back"

Sin sits beside Finn. They gently put their hands on his head as well as on his heart. They began to apply both physical reperation, as well as to help ease Finn’s mind. While they couldn’t fully heal or erase his fears, they would be able to soothe his mind.

Aspen scurries up onto the ship like the absolute rat that he is. "Fúcking great. So we just barely managed to escape the devydra, and now you're telling me some mysterious other monster pulled you into the water?" Aspen asks Avalon.
Arwyn takes an interest in this statement. "Something pulled you in there?" She asks Avalon in alarm. She then puts her hand on her head and sighs. "Yknow what? Hold that thought. Gineye's right. Aspen, you go and get us back on track boat-wise." She commands. "Aye aye captain hog ass," He retorts sarcastically. "That doesn't even make sense!" She shouts as he walks away. Arwyn turns back to Avalon.
Finn's entire arm was definitely singed. Even though he had crazy fire power, he was in fact still flammable. When Sin started healing him the third degree burns began turning back to his correct skin color. Finn also began to be calmer. His inaudible whispers started becoming audible, and he was saying "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry, I didn't.." and then he snapped out of it like a switch. "Oh man, that was crazy!" Finn said with his usual smile. He grabbed the gloves that he had dropped on the floor and quickly slid them back on. -
Sin looked concerned, but continued to heal him just in case. They stopped after three minutes. “ if you feel any residual pain let me know.” Sin says quietly.
“ Is anyone else in any sort of pain?” They ask calmly, this was their element. They were a healer not a warrior. -
(Fixing turn order.)
Avalon said "Well I can't see underwater. I do think I stabbed it though. And who knows. Maybe the devydra scared it away." He then changed the subject and asked "So how much longer until we get to the other side of this lake?" -
