Jace is filling a police report against Megans mother, in case Josey attempts to claim that Marcus kidnapped Megan. It’s parnaoid but he’s going to do it, -
Oh . // Mark paced outside the room , hearing Have on the phone with the police. What if they took Megan? He began to oanick a protective nature gathering in him over the toddler

“ they want pictures of her injuries, and her mother’s full name...just email this address.” He said as he put it on the table.
The author then sat down to eat. Even though his appetite had withered away. -
Marcus nods solemnly . 30 minutes later he comes back, grabs bottle if painkiller, pops two into his hand, pause then begins to pop two more painkillers into his hand . To take them all

Jace however notices him and he grabs his hand knowing the painkillers away. “ that isn’t going to help!” He said as loud as he had been all night. “....if you’re not going to eat something, then...then just come to bed ok?”

Marcus signs "I guess I'm taking the couch" he said shamefully hugging himself. He felt horrible about this

“ what? No.” Jace said. “ I wasn’t lying, look yeah I’m upset with you, but one .....mistake doesn’t dictate our relationship. You’re my entire world, besides you know how bad my nightmares get when I’ve just finished a chapter, sleep beside me.”

"O-okay" he said softly staring at his feet before slowly trying to take Jaces hand. He heard the soft quiet sires of Megan and a small small smile graced his lips

The young man kissed his cheek before leading him to the bedroom. “ ...if keeping her is too much, we could always give her up. Maybe she has some other relatives....but...if you want her...then I’ll deal with that. I love you .” He said before he went to prepare for bed.

Jace made up his mind, he’d planned a picnic celebration Tommorrow, now it would have to be for three and not two, and he’d propose then an there, “ hey, baby? I have a sunrise for you tom row.” He whispered gently as he carefully pulled him back for a kiss before he carefully snuggle into his side and quickly fell asleep.

Marcus smiled softly , wrapping his arms around Jaces' waist and smiling a sleepy smile as he drifted off into a dreamless sleep , as he did everynight.

The next morning, jace had carefully wrangled himself out of his boyfriends arms at around six am, he went to the store to pick up the picnic basket, adding more food than likely needed, and also buying some child’s stuff. He woke the little girl at seven.

“ I bought you some clothes for now, until we can take you shopping and look, I bought to this, I have one just like, it but rainbow.” He said as he presented her with a green and blue llama plush, -
"Yeah! " the little girl said enthusiastically then smiled at the llama "Thank you uh.." She said then shrugged "You love my daddy like a boy loves a girl right?" ((I had to pull that))
