Felipe nodded, staring into space.
(Time skip?) -
(To when?)
-
(To the dance I guess?)
-
(Alright.)
Callum and Oliver were putting the last preparations on their costumes. Oliver put on the finger knife glove and Callum put on his mask. Oliver said "Alright, let's create some slasher havoc" -
“Felipe darling, come downstairs for dinner!” Her mother called as Felipe looked at herself in the mirror. “I’m not hungry.” Felipe called. “Alright... I understand. I know it’s a hard time of year for both of us.” Her mother replied before walking downstairs. Felipe felt guilty as she remembered her research on Freddy Kuger. “Alright, so he has an old fashion country man kind of feel to him... So something like this.” She whispered, turning her outfit into a country girl dress and sun hat.
“He also has his outfit ragged and ripped from his deeds, so let’s see here...” She muttered, transforming the outfit to have many rips and the hat to have holes and a missing patch of the brim. “Good... Now his skin is all burnt, and he has a claw on one hand...” She muttered, making her finger nails grow on one hand and sloppily painting them red before making her skin appear burnt and wounded. “Better make it feel like rubber and peelable so he thinks it’s a mask.” She then muttered, doing so. “Now that we got What’s accurate, some more attractive features.” She continued, making her lips red and her eyelashes long, then braiding her hair into twin braids.
Felipe smiled, grabbing her doorknob and taking a deep breath. “I’m sorry mom... Lord help me...” She whispered before taking a hesitant look around the room. “Verum.” She whispered before leaving the room, walking out of a trailer house across the street from the one Karma waited at. Karma smiled as she ran to her friend with a grin, showing off her own costume with a chain saw and a red leather jacket over the dress. “You really went all out on your costume.” Karma teased. “Shut up. Let’s just get this over with.” She muttered, walking to the boy’s house with Karma. -
Callum and Oliver sat on their porch waiting for Karma and Felipe to arrive. Callum had his mask up and his glasses on so he could see. He said "What do you think their costumes will look like?" Oliver replied "I don't know man. Whatever it is, it's probably good."
-
Karma smiled as she saw them, walking over and dragging Felipe behind her. She smiled as she rested her hands on the fence, slightly leaning over it. “Hey guys!” She cheered with a grin. Felipe giggled as she too leaned over the fence, resting her left forearm and right elbow on the fence as she held her chin in her right hand. “Hey there fellas.” She greeted in a country girl voice.
-
Oliver and Callum stood up and Oliver, doing an impression of Freddy said "Hello there. I'm glad to see you've shown up. Let's just hope I don't appear in your dreams tonight, or it won't be so pleasant."
-
“Not if I appear in yours first handsome.” Felipe replied, continuing her country girl act. “Oh, I’m sure you’ll appear in eachother's dreams, just in a different way.” Karma teased, getting stomped hard on the foot by Felipe, whose face blushed as she glared at Karma. “Oh, a feisty little dearie aren’t ya?” Karma teased with a which’s cackle. “Whatever. Let’s go.” Felipe sighed, dropping the act. “Hey, I’m sorry for teasing, okay?” Karma apologized. “You can rip me to shreds after the party.” She then offered with a grin. “Nah, I prefer my jerks fried with beans and bacon.” Felipe replied, back to the country girl routine. “Besides. By then you’ll be trying to slaughter me anyways. Not that it’lol be easy sweetheart.” She continued. “Very well farm girl.” Karma chuckled, pretending to start up the chainsaw, causing both girls to laugh.
-
Callum walked next to Karma and he said "I don't know if I picked the right costume for this party. I can't put my glasses on the mask and I'm mostly blind without them."
-
“Here, let me see...” Karma replied, gently taking his glasses. She carefully popped out the lenses, er magic helping a little, then popped them into the eye holes of the mask, using her magic to keep them in, making sure no one saw, before giving him the mask. “I used glue. Don’t worry I’ll fix the glasses after.” Karma told him with a smile.
-
Callum put his mask back on and said "Thank you." Oliver whispered to Felipe "Don't tell anyone but we have a surprise planned for Callum at the dance."
-
“Oh? And what’s the surprise?” She asked.
-
Oliver whispered "You'll see."
-
“Alright...” She replied, feeling a bit uncomfortable with this. However for the most part, it seemed Oliver had Callum’s best interest at heart. So she decided to have the benefit of the doubt. Of course, if anyone were to accuse her of trusting a mortal, she would simply say she doesn’t care what happens to a mortal like Callum.
