Karma smiled as Callum sat with her, resting her head on his shoulder. “Hey guys. How’s it going?” Felipe asked, feeling Kimberly glaring holes into her.

Callum said "It's been great." Oliver asked "I assume Karma already told you."

“Yes, I’m happy for you two! Sorry my advice wasn’t the best, but in the end it worked out at least.” Farrah replied. “Hey it’s fine. It’s fun trying new things.” Karma replied.

Callum said "I'm willing to bet Kimberly isn't happy." "She isn't." said a voice. It was Ridley, coming over to talk to some other people.

“Are you going to the dance with anyone Farrah?” Karma asked. “Yeah. You wouldn’t know them. My date’s from a different school.” Farrah replied with a smile.

Ridley said "Which school?"

“The Private school nearby.” Farrah replied.

Callum said "What are you gonna dress as?"

“That’s a surprise.” She replied with a grin. “What about you Ridely? Anyone you’re bringing?” She then asked.

Ridley said "Uh, not really. I'd just thought I'd arrive on my own."

Farrah nodded. “Hey, did you know the school library is getting cleared away?” Farrah asked. “What!?!” Felipe yelped. “Yeah. They’re replacing it with a computer lab.” Farrah continued. “No no no no no no...” Felipe muttered, looking at the table. She had no idea how to even use a computer. Not that she could admit that to mortals, who depended on technology like a wizard depended on magic. Karma felt empathetic to Felipe’s situation, but didn’t freak out, having taught herself how to use computers over the years, being friends with a computer nerd in elementary.

Oliver said "I hope the librarian knows how to work computers, or there's gonna be trouble."

“Uh... How are students supposed to do assignments without books?” Felipe asked. “Computers are easier to use for assignments than books.” Farrah told her. “Oh...” Felipe muttered. “I... er... prefer books...” She told them, not wanting to admit she was clueless with computers.
