I Summon Thee

If the H in hähnchen were capitalized it'd say "I want chicken" in German uwu)
"Y-yeah, I summoned a demon," Cain said, having to hear the words for himself. He barely believed it. What would his brother say if he found out about this? His mother? But Tirnarok seemed to be referring to something other than that, to what Cain has done to the world. Honestly, Cain didn't know. He didn't know what chaos or destruction this demon would bring. His ritual had worked, that much he knew. The website had said that it could summon a demon, and it didnt
After a moment or two of Cain getting over his dsitress about his actions, he decided to ask the demon about the doubts he'd been having against the credibility of God. "I have a few questions.." Cain said softly. Words were hard to form with Tirnarok present, the atmosphere was dark and ominous. -

(LMAO f---ING EPIC)
Tirnarok laughed again. This time, his entire body shook with the sound, and the shadows that made up his form moved rapidly with his amusement. He decided that, rather than telling the boy the truth right away, he would wait until he could find a time where the information would sink in.
"Ask away, Caine Willson. I have extensive knowledge." He paused. His form flickered, as if a TV was going static. His voice lightened up, as if he were excited. "Is it about your God?" -
Cain was shooketh. Pushing the fact aside that the demon was creepy as heck and somehow knew his name, Cain was now much more confident in Tirnarok's presence. "It is, actually.. Is he real?" Cain asked. It felt great to finally get the question off his chest. It led to many more disturbing questions, though. Questions that his family would shun him for even thinking. So what if God was real, was he worth worshipping? What made God and his angels so different from Lucifer and his demons, God's own angel that he shunned away in the first place? Cain shook his head a little to clear away the thoughts.
-
Tirnarok tilted his head, the whisps of shadows tilting with him. For a moment, he was silent. Was this the only reason why this boy had summoned him? To answer questions? He let out an audible sigh and began to pace the length of the summoning circle.
"I am not a figment of your imagination, yes? The same goes for your God. He exists, as much as I like to deny it." He stopped pacing for a moment to stare down at his shirt. A button was loose. Shadows began to shape and morph themselves into hands; he fixed the button before picking up his pacing. "Unlike your God, however, I come when I am called. I love feeding mortals information beyond their wildest dreams. It's a hobby of mine. You would know that, though, since you intentionally summoned me and not another demon..."
Another pause. This time, he focused on Cain. "Unless... you have no idea who I am?" -
Cain nodded as the demon confirmed the existence of God. He watched curiously when the shadows where Tirnarok's arms should be actually turned into hands to fix a button. "I know who you are," Cain answered defensively, though he wasn't as confident in that statement as he made it sound. "You're a demon, probably a hightier one for being able to be summoned," Cain paused to swallow back the rolls of fear he had. He had to remain poised; who knew if this demon was already in his head, swaying his thoughts? Cain could only show courage. "A-able to be summoned, and the website said that you would be able to answer any question," said Cain. He felt like he was missing something.. Tirnarok seemed to be more than just some old wise entity. Knowledge was certainly something Tirnarok had, but his main power was more sinister.
"C-could you do that again, except, like.. uh.." Cain gestured towards Tirnarok's shadow arms, "Is there anyway you could become more like a person th-than a shadow, it's really unsettling me.." Cain couldn't help but stutter a little. So much for courage. -
Upon Cain's request, Tirnarok snapped his fingers. Shadows covered his form like vultures to their prey. When they parted, there was a young adult human there. He had a pair of pants on, but his feet were bare, and his chest was exposed. He pulled his hand up to his lips, a playful smirk crossing his face. He rolled his shoulders back and forth, stretching out his limbs, before winking at Cain.
"Your wish is my command, Cain," Tirnarok finally said aloud. "Though, the fact that you didn't know my name..." He put his hand onto his chest, giving him a disappointed look. "I'm You didn't read the fine print, did you? I am not just any demon. My name is Tirnarok. You can call me Virgil when I'm in this form, though."
He paused, looking down at the circle. Suddenly, a look of disgust crossed his face. The demon moved his hand off of his chest, pointing at the candles and various array of objects that littered the floor. "For the love of God, undo this circle. You made it so small, I can hardly move." Virgil suddenly glared at Cain, his brown eyes glazing over with a red tint. "I refuse to answer any further questions until you give me more room to walk." -
When Tirnarok changed into his human form, any sane person would've been more at ease, but Cain tensed up even more. The first thought that came into his head was: oh no, he's hot! Of all the things Cain could've thought about the demon, his brain just had to make that the first one. Why would he think that, anyway? Cain totally liked girls.. Or atleast, that's what he's told himself. Cain's heart secretly fluttered at the wink, which made him frown. Dang it, heart. Stop that.
"Virgil," Cain said, trying out the new name, "I don't think I should undo the circle, then you'd be free to walk around and do whatever you want. If I'm going to let you go, we're gonna have to set some rules," Cain said. He vaguely remembered the name Tirnarok during one of of his late night researches on dark magic and paganism. -
Virgil snorted, shaking his head and looking up at the ceiling. For a moment, he had a perplexed look on his face, as if he was thinking. However, the look quickly turned into that of anger. He threw his hands up in the air, staring directly at Cain.
"When you summoned me, you bound me to your soul, idiot," Virgil hissed. "You can leave me here if it will please you, but you will feel the tug of our bond wearing you down the farther you go away from me. Didn't you read what you were doing? The blood- your blood, this blood," he said, slamming his foot down into the drops of blood, "is what sealed your fate with me. You have given me permission to walk the earth for an entire month. Your soul belongs to me until the time is up. And heed my warning when I tell you that I will become more destructive the longer I am stuck in this miserable spot."
He pointed again to the circle. Sighing, he said, "I cannot do anything upon the first week, so you don't have to worry about releasing me here. Not yet. Unless..." Again, the playful smirk. "Do you live with a family? I would love to meet them." -
"You won't be meeting anyone that lives here, that's rule number one," Cain said, rather defensively. Excuse his factually correct language but no way in hell would he be letting Virgil anywhere near his kin. Cain didn't know how to take in the fact that he had accidentally bound his soul to a demon.. it was only for a month, right? That damned website, it didn't mention anything about this. How would Cain deal with Virgil for that long?
"And lower your voice," Cain said, glancing around nervously. "I don't care if you get more destructive, so help me I'll let you rot here for a month in that circle if you don't comply with my terms," Cain said. He couldn't believe he was trying to compromise with this creature. There was no way he'd be able to hide a demon from his mom, let alone command it.
Cain also wondered about this "bond" that Virgil was talling about. It was a frightening thought. He doesn't really go out much, but how far would he be able to walk around the house before the bond urged him to return back to the attic? -
"Where on earth are you planning to put me, hm? I've already told you that we are bound together. Your soul is one with mine. I could easily go and find a single young woman, but I feel like that would end poorly for you. You should let me meet your family. I can play nice~! Let's come up with a story, yeah?"
Virgil stepped closer to the edge of the circle. He smiled at Cain, shoving his hands into his pants pockets. "I'm a boy from church in need of seeing... A family of Christ. I want to show my family how it all pans out. I'm sure they'd be honored to have me stay. They'd be proud of you, too. Might alleviate the guilt of summoning me, eh?"
He smirked, giving his words a moment to sink in. Once he had paused long enough, he added, "I can't do anything now, but in seven days, I will be able to. I can slowly start to destroy this attic space. After I build up enough power, I could probably tear this house down. I recommend you release me before that happens. Choose your next move wisely, Cain." -
Cain was filled with dread at the news of the demon being able to have full power in only seven days. He definitely couldn't keep Virgil here in the attic. Cain was rounded into a croner, he had no choice but to do as the demon said.
"Th-That's where the rules come into play, though," said Cain. "Say I agree to take you out the circle and allow you to stay here until our month is due.. then you can't go around killing people, especially anyone that I know! A-and you can't tell anyone at all that you're a demon, or use your powers on my family," Cain said. No matter what story was concocted, though, nothing would alleviate the guilt of summoning the demon in the first place. Cain was in a really dark place at the moment, and this whole situation didn't lighten it up one bit. -
Virgil swiped his foot back and forth on the floor, humming. "No killing is off of the table. I can promise not to kill someone you know, but anyone else is fair game." He paused, smiling. It was a genuine one. "You have my word; I will not tell anyone what I am, and I will not use my powers on your family."
He held out his hands in front of himself, acting as if he had handcuffs on them. "Will you please let me out of this s--- hole? I'm getting bored, Cain. I want to meet the family I'll be living with!" -
Cain sighed. He couldn't very well leave Virgil here, but he was not looking forward to show him to his family like something he picked off the street. While the story Virgil came up with was a good one, it showed Cain just how good of a liar he was.
"Okay," Cain agreed. He glanced around before spotting his prize, and grabbed a pair of scissors from a nearby shelf. Cain walked towards Virgil, close now enough to touch him, bent down and cut a clean slit in the rug with the demonic circle painted on it. Now the circle was broken, and the demon could walk free. He could've cleaned the the circle off the rug, but that would recquire him to go downstairs and get the needed supplies. That would make Cain have to take his eyes off the demon, which would certainly not be happening.
"J-just be quiet, okay? They'll be waking up soon for breakfast, I'll say I found you while I was taking a morning jog or something," Cain instructed. -
Virgil's eyes glimmered with excitement as he stepped off of the rug and into the wooden floor. He wiggled his feet, his eyes full of pure fascination. The polish on the floor was unlike anything that he had ever encountered before. And, now that he thought about it, Cain's clothing style was drastically different from what he was used to. He looked back up at Cain with a child-like curiosity.
"What year is this, Cain?" Virgil asked, stalking over to the door. He put his hand on it, sliding down and getting a feel for the material. "I suppose I could go into your head and look for the answers, but... You summoned me, so I'll give you some amount of privacy." He looked back at Cain, quietly jiggling the doorknob.
