They came back and Silver said "We couldn't find them."

Knight sighed softly as she rested her head back onto her paws "Guess we are going to have to wait until the pups are warning on their own".

Duke said "That could take weeks." Silver said "No one's saying you have to stay." Duke asked "What's that supposed to mean?"

Knight looked down at the pups"If you can't sense your so called "master" than what else can you do? I don't plan on myself or my family to get injured or killed from humans....still hate them with every bone in my body after my parents were killed and used as props for pride and amusement... "

Duke said "My master isn't like that. He would never kill any wolf unless they're attacking, which has never happened. He didn't even bring any bullets. Just some weird dart things." Silver said "Sure that'll make us feel better."

Knight sighed softly as she closed her eyes.

Duke sighed and lay down in the snow.

"But I'm sure they're out there still..." Knight said as she looked at him.

Duke said "I hope so. I'm not much of a hunter. I just guard stuff."

"I completely understand." Knight said as she smiled a bit.

Suddenly there was a loud roar in the distance.

Knight immediately stood up as her ears pinned back"I reconize that roar..."

Duke asked "What is it?" Silver answered "Lockjaw."

Knight then moved the pups into a darker area of the cave and made sure to cover them up.

Silver walked out to see where he was. Duke stood up to find him.
