Duke used his nose to push Rex in the right direction. He crawled over to Knight as Duke lay back down.

"Thanks.." Knight said as she gently pushed Rex towards her belly to feed with his siblings.

Duke stood up and walked to Silver, who was outside being on the lookout. Duke asked "So how long have you and Knight been together?" Silver answered "That answer is on a need to know basis."

Knight closed her eyes as her ears perked up.

Duke said "What's your problem? I haven't even done anything." Silver said "I don't want anything hurting the pups. I have to be cautious."

Knight yawned as she held the pups close,keeping them warm.

Duke said "But I'm not a threat." Silver said "Tell that to your owners."

Knight watched them from inside"Calm down,Silver. He's just curious."

Silver said "Sorry. Humans and I don't have the best relationship." Duke asked "Why not?" "I don't want to talk about it." Silver answered.

Knight rested her head back onto her paws.

Duke looked around and said "Look, if you help me find my owners, I might leave sooner."

Knight yawned as she flicked her tail"He has a point.."

Silver said "Yes, but we can't move too much until the pups can stand up and move on their own."

Knight nodded her head as she curled around the pups.

Duke asked "Then what do you suggest?"
