Duke ran through the woods, getting increasingly panicked that he couldn't find his owners. The ground was snowy and hard to run through, but he kept trying, barking for help.
Silver sat with his puppies who were only two weeks old. He made sure they were warm. -
Knight's ears perked up as she heard faint barking in the distance, holding a dead snow rabbit before she started running back towards her mate and pups.

Silver also heard some faint barking. Not like anyone he's heard, it sounded, different. He saw Knight coming closer with the rabbit. He asked "Do you hear that?"

Knight dropped the rabbit onto the ground "Yeah,It sounds strange." She replied as she scented the air before looking back at their pups.

Silver said "Stay here. I'm gonna go see what it is." He started to followed the barking and a very faint scent trail.

Knight watched him for a moment as she curled around the pups,keeping them warm.

Silver followed the trail. Wondering if whatever he was tracking was a threat.
Duke smelled something and thought it was his owner. He ran to find them.
Both of them stopped once they found each other and said nary a word. -
Knight then picked up both pups before she started to run towards Silver,following his scent.

Silver growled at the strange dog that was before him. Duke growled at him as well. Silver asked "Why are you here?" Duke said "I'm lost, I can't find my owner."

Knight soon arrived as her ears pinned back as she stared at the dog in both confusion and wariness as she stood next to Silver.

Silver said "Your owner is not here. Go away." Duke said "There's no way he'd abandon me. I just thought he was this way." Silver said "I don't care. Leave."

Knight gently placed the pups down as her tail twitched"You're far away from home,Young one. Its not safe out here alone,A lot of rogue wolves and packs will find you and most likely kill you." She said calmly as she stared down at the dog.

Duke said "Well I don't know what to do. I have no where to go."

"How about you stay with us for a day and tomorrow, We find who ever you're searching for?" Knight said as she layed down close to the pups.
