Silver rubbed his daughter and felt she was a little cooler but not by much. He said "She's burning."

"Could we try to sit her around some snow?" Knight asked softly.

Duke said "That won't help. If she's burning, she might have a fever."

"What can help with a fever?"Knight asked as she looked down at her daughter in worry.

Duke said "I don't know. My owner usually takes me to the vet when I'm sick." Silver said "We are not going to a vet. That involves going into the city."

"But Ginger is in pain,love....." Knight whimpered out softly.

Silver was now in a tough situation. He still didn't trust Duke or the humans, but he felt he had no choice. It was either risk Ginger's death or risk capture by the humans. He sighed and said "Okay."

"We'll just stay low and avoid any humans." Knight said softly as she carefully picks up the pups.

Sillver grabbed Ginger and Duke said "Follow me." and started to lead them to town.

Knight followed close behind.

About one hour later, they made it to a small town. Duke wondered if his owner was somewhere around here. He looked while Silver stayed hidden with Knight.

Knight looked at Ginger worriedly.

Duke said "Okay, this won't work unless someone sees her. Give me your pup." Silver said "What?"

Knight lowered her ears as she hesitated.as she looked at Silver.

Duke said "We can't just walk in. If they see you, they might get the police and capture you. If they see your pup with me, the people will help." Silver looked at Knight for her opinion.
