"She hardley even knows him. She's known me her whole life. I'm charming, funny, kind, and I always take her side, but she hardly notices me. This is the first time he's ever spoken to her, and she's all over him. What does he have that I don't?" Heo muttered. he's a hero child a voice in Heo's head reminded him. you're the child of a slave and an embodiment of evil. The voice continued.
-
Sam said "Your face looks familiar. Have we meet before?" Ruby said "I'm usually at my friend's cafe. Maybe you've seen me eating there?" Sam said "No, no. Somewhere before that. I just can't seem to put my finger on it."
-
(I, know, you, I've walked with you once upon a dream.)
-
(Can Wolfe or Malefor say/do something? I have nothing to do with Heo until they start dancing or Isabel comes on, whichever comes first.)
-
(I'm not sure what to say?)
-
(Ah it's okay, we'll just wait for Isabel.)
-
sorryyyyyyyyy))
Willow sees the Prince of White and walks closer. In the process, he hears a bit of Heo's mumbling. He barely looks at him but the thoughts stays stuck in the back of his mind. [i'I guess he had that crush thing on Ruby.'[/i] he thought as he looked out at them talking. "Are you alright, Heo?" He asked bluntly, looking into his eyes. -
thanks for failing me, UBB code))
-
Heo snapped out of it when he heard Willow and chuckled. "Uh, Yeah, of course. I'm always alright." Heo replied. "I just think I forgot something..." He added, checking to see that Camila was busy before leaving the ballroom. Once in the hallway, Heo sat on a bench and tried to use spells to work out his pain. However emotion spells weren't his strong suit, and it just made him more frustrated. He sighed and rested his head in his hand, tears staining his cheeks.
-
Willow furrowed his brow. What was this feeling? Pity? Friendship? Whatever it was found Heo's attitude suspicious, so he turned himself invisible with his snakes and creeped into the hall after Heo. They were friends weren't they? And friends checked up on each just in case. Yeah.
-
Sam finally thought of it and said "I remember you now. When I was seven, you and your brother were rolling down a hill and invited me to join. We did it for hours." Ruby's face lit up as he said the memory. She honestly didn't think he's remember that.
-
Heo took a deep breath and tried again, taking out his spell book and looking at the different ones for healing hearts. They were very complicated spells, and Ironically they needed love to power the magic to use them. So you needed to focus on a memory that made you feel love in order to use the spell. Heo sighed and shook his head as he closed the book. The friends from the other side were all kooks. "Keep it cool... At least this one day. Lillian's good with healing magic, so I can ask for her help later." Heo muttered to himself.
-
Willow dissolved his magic before walking properly into the hall, as if he had just arrived. Silently, he sat down next to Heo. He wasn't sure exactly what to say. In his entire friendship with the boy, Heo had always been upbeat and optimistic. If a broken heart could hurt so much, why have a heart to begin with? He struggled for words for a few heartbeats, opening and closing his mouth awkwardly, before finally deciding on something to say.
"I... I don't understand all of this, but... you - you don't have to hide that you're hurting. It's okay to feel sometimes. Don't just bottle it up. A broken heart may hurt now but it'll heal... right? Uh, and, just be more open. Or try to be?" Willow said, the words tumbling out in a confusing mess. At least the message maybe got across, even if he most likely looked ridiculous while delivering it. -
Willow: pained screaming ))

(Lol)
Heo looked up when he saw Willow and chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed the tears off his face. "Sorry... Perhaps a bottle is as bad as a mask... but I knew the whole time that Ruby would only see me as a friend, and I didn't care. I figured it would be this endless charade, a game that last forever. However the game ended, and I lost, and I can't be a sore loser over a game she had no idea she was playing." Heo sighed as he looked at the ceiling.
