Ruby said "You're no better. You can't even tell Camila you like her." Wolfe said "At least I can talk to her." Ruby shut up as she couldn't say anything after that.
(Should we skip to the ball now?) -
Willow messed with the spell for a few more minutes before pretty much giving up. It wasn't worth the energy. And as much as it made him squirm, he'd just have to deal with letting his snakes stay out. He didn't want to waste magic while near Malefor. The albino didn't think he would do anything, but it was the guests who bothered him.
-
(Sure.)
Soon it was time for the ball and Lillian was looking into the mirror nervously. "Hey, can I come in?" A voice asked through the door. Camila? Lillian walked to the door and opened it, shocked to see Camila's aura non-foggy and bright, but tense none the less. However then it relaxed a bit. "Oh, right. You can't see. Good." Camila chuckled as she sat down on the bed. "I wouldn't say it's good... Especially if Malefor sees I'm blind. He'll figure out that I'm related to Odie. He'll see me as a threat..." Lillian muttered. "Well you're not going to wear those sunglasses if I'm not wearing my mask. Can't you use that healing spell of yours?" Camila asked. "Well if we're taking that staff or reasoning with Malefor today... Then I should save it for if someone gets hurt. It's only temporary anyways and it would wear off by the time I start dancing." Lillian explained. "Well, Let's see if I can try something. I will give you vision for the ball, since it would be hard to take away your blindness but still allow you to have your powers for life, but in order for my magic to work, we need to make a deal." Camila replied. "Wait, you're not wearing your mask?" Lillian asked. "Lillian!" Camila snapped, her aura getting tense. "Right, right, sorry... Uh... I make sure Heo isn't depressed and stays on task at the party?" Lillian asked, having being told what happened by Heo when he asked for advice. "Deal." Camila replied.
With a shake of the hand, Lillian's blindness faded and her brown eyes became clear. "Camila! You look beautiful!!!" Lillian cheered. Camila sighed, already regretting this. "That's the problem. In the world of the Goddess, beauty means power... However since I am a human, it means weakness." Camila sighed. "What are you talking about!?!" Lillian asked. "All those pretty princess must be saved by the guy, are protected by the guy and depend on the guy. Not just princesses but all pretty girls show weakness in our world." Camila sighed. "What about Mulan and Merida?" Lillian pointed out. "They weren't beautiful." Camila chuckled. Lillian rolled her eyes. "Camila, you're the most bad ass girl I know, but when you hide behind that mask, it makes you a coward." Lillian told her. "Funny, here I thought you were the most badass girl in the kingdom." Camila chuckled. "No, I'm not the most bad ass girl, I'm the most bad ass Person." Lillian corrected, causing both girls to laugh. "Why are you so nice to me?" Camila asked as she got up. "Because you needed a second chance. You wanted to please your mother, but I knew you needed a push to be your own person." Lillian explained. Camila smiled and nodded. "Thanks Lillian." She repled before leaving. Lillian smiled and finished weaving a crown of blue bells and a bracelet of forget me nots before walking out the door.
Heo sighed as he put on his tux. "Above all things, I want Ruby to be happy... If I can't make her happy with me, then I'll have to accept that and make her happy as a friend instead." Heo told his reflection. As much as he wanted to punch the mirror he held the urge in and walked downstairs. -
Wolfe combed his hair while Ruby braided hers. Wolfe said "I hope everything goes good at this party." Ruby said "Why wouldn't it?" Wolfe said "I don't know. Sometimes things can go wrong." "You just worry too much." retorted Ruby.

Heo got into the carriage and told the driver the addresses for Wolfe/Ruby's house and Willow's house. The driver nodded and the horses pulled along the carriage to their destination.
Camila made sure her face was hidden whenever she passed someone in the hall on her way to the ballroom. "Relax." Lillian advised when she caught up. "Okay... Okay..." Camila sighed. "I'm sure Wolfe will be happy to see you without the mask." Lillian teased. Camila felt her cheeks heat up and growled in frustration. "Why does everyone keep hinting that there's something special about Wolfe!?!" She muttered. "Wow Camila. You're blinder than I am." Lillian teased. "I'm sure you'll figure it out." She hummed. Camila looked at Lillian in confusion as they entered the ballroom, which Lillian looked at in awe. Camila didn't care much of the scenery. -
Soon both Wolfe and Ruby were ready. Wolfe had a special surprise planned for Ruby when they got there.
The ballroom was decorated ornately. Malefor made sure it appealed to everyone and he invited more people than were in his court. James Hook Jr. was playing the piano for the music. -
(Hmm, let me guess. Is it a certain son of white?)
Lillian smiled as she swayed along to the piano, lost in her own little world. Camila chuckled as she watched Lillian and leaned against the wall.
Heo took a deep breath when they arrived at the house of Wolf and walked to the door, placing three firm knocks. -
(Pretty much. Hair black as ebony.)
Wolfe answered the door and said "Here to pick us up and go to the ball?"
Malefor walked around in a dark red tux, talking to some of his guests. He came to Camila and said "What do you think?" -
"I'm not much to ask for opinions on parties." Camila replied, wondering if he even noticed she wasn't wearing her mask.
Heo nodded and smiled. "Yup. Let's go, if you're ready." Heo replied.
(So Isabell when you get on I have a plan for shipping Willow and Heo.) -
Lillian turned her head when she saw Malefor pass, studying his appearance from behind with a blush on her cheeks. Camila smirked when she noticed this and was a bit surprised admittedly. That someone as light hearted and carefree as Lillian would have feelings for someone as down hearted and burdened as Malefor. She had heard of opposites attract, but this was taking it a bit to the extreme. Camila would never understand the ways of the mortal heart.

Wolfe said "We're both ready." and he and Ruby got onto the carriage.
Malefor said "I think I've done pretty well." He then looked at Camila again and said "It occurs to me I've never seen you without that mask. Decided not to wear it tonight?" -
"The colour scheme offsetted the mask. Something my brother would harass me for all night." She chuckled jokingly. Then, for the fun of it, she pointed at the blushing Lillian. "I think you have a secret admirer." She teased, causing Lillian to hold in a yelp and look away.
Heo forced a smile still as he entered the carriage and it made way for Willow's house. -
Willow was shaking like a leaf as he looked at himself in the mirror. It didn’t feel right to have his snakes out like this. But Heo said he didn’t mind them, so maybe it was okay.
The albino was still a little upset about the failed spell but there was no point sulking about it now. Mostly he was worried he’d have to talk to people.
Whatcha got, Mage? -
