Ava bit her lip in her sleep, also smiling.

Alex looked at the person, and squinted. He thought he saw them biting their lip. "Wow, if someone saw that, they'd never stop bugging her.."

Half-awake now, Ava rubbed her eyes, realising her lip from her teeth. "Mm," she sighed.

"Oh good. She's up." Alex smiled. He decided to go help out his parents, and saw them inflating a... bouncy house?

Ava shook her head, blinking her eyes. She noticed a few people start to arrive.

Alex shook his head, but saw some people. He sighed, and headed for the door. He went inside, and moved Charles's food and water into his room, where Charles was sleeping. He locked the door, and went to greet the guests

Finally, Ava stood, adjusting her flower crown. Deep breath. She approached the door to Alex's house, soon being directly across from him.

Alex brought out a bowl of punch, and he started debating how good a choice it was to let his parents even throw this party

As people entered, so did Ava. She didn't talk to many people, and no one caught her eye, besides Alex, but she was too nervous.

Someone had come up to Alex, and he just kept nodding. He was bored out of his mind, but for the sake of his parents, he had to be here

Ava walled up to a table, which was filled with food, but she hit her hip on the corner, which stabbed her. Wincing, she said, "oww.."

"I'll be right back" Alex told the person he was talking to. He walked over, asking "Are you okay?"

"Hm?" Ava flinched when she saw him. "Oh, yeah," she rubbed the back of her neck nervously.

"You sure? We have a lot of ice of you need any" Alex said, smiling like he cared at least a little. He did, but he was still very bored. He had to do this for over twelve hours? It's only been half an hour ...

"I'm fine, but thank you, uh, Alex?" Ava knew him, but she didn't want to seem like she knew him too well.
