Russle blushed and sat beside her. He shivered from the ice and tried to contain his instincts as he looked at the stars. "You will someday." Russle told her, trying not to look at her and he looked at the stars instead.

Knight went silent as the ice started to disappear"I guess..."

"Life has a funny way of running things. You could meet your true love tomorrow, or in ten years from now. Or anywhere more, less, or in between. Maybe you've even met them already but they weren't ready for you yet. Either way, you'll have someone. It will just take awhile until you know who." He told her. Russle looked in her eyes to be polite, but her eyes stirred up his instinct and he tried to look away. However instinct kept him staring in her eyes.

Knight noticed that he was staring for quite a while before placing a hand on his shoulder"Russle?Are you alright?..You've been staring for a while.."She said softly.

"I'm okay." Russle replied, looking away. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. He walked over to the mattress and took deep breaths to calm the lust down.

Knight blinked as she watched him,her eyes glowing.She then looked away,a deep red blush on her cheeks.

Russle looked at her, studying her tale, her skin... Russle's instinct and lust got stirred up again and he turned into a wolf. Instinct made him release his sent as he walked over to her.

Knight smelled him before looking at him,her eyes glowing as instincts made her release her own scent.

Russle smirked and sat beside her, nuzzling her neck. He turned into a human and looked directly into her eyes with a smirk. His eyes clouded with lust and instinct. "Like I said... It's funny the way life runs things." He whispered, placing his hand on her cheek.

Knight lightly traced up and down his arm,her eyes glazed over with lust and Instinct."Yeah...."She said softly.

Russle smirked and wrapped his arms around her, placing her on his lap. He looked into her eyes. Russle pressed his lips firmly against Knights and gently but firmly kissed her.

Knight kissed him back as she wrapped her arms around his neck,her fingers playing with his hair.

Russle smiled into the kiss and played with Kate's tail.

Russle smiled but frowned when the memory of his old mate flashed in his mind. He stroked a strand of Knight's hair out of her face and studied her as he remembered pulling the trigger. Russle knew it would be different with Knight. His job was to protect her. And now he would give his own life to do it. Russle smiled and wrapped his arms tightly around Kate, kissing her neck passionately.
