Wendy looked around but couldnt see Noelle. With a smirk, the Chef rang the bell so Wendy would look at him, then pointed in Noelles direction. Im gonna close up early. We had a pretty busy week. The Chef told her. Thanks Avery. Wendy thanked him before following Noelle. Noelle? I got the Advils. Wendy told Noelle, trying to keep up. Why was Noelle in such a rush to leave? Wendy suddenly stopped and merely stared at Noelle in utter confusion. I messed up... Didnt I? She blurted, in an angry voice that was also exhausted, confused, and had a laugh to it. Wendy laughed at herself and sighed in frustration, raising her hands to the air and allowing them to fall to her sides.

Noelle clicked a button on her car keys, unlocking the doors, she took a glance backwards eyes narrowed. She glanced over her shoulder, shaking her head. Due to her twisted game, she felt the need to reassure Wendy somehow, without letting the truth spill. Noelle sighed, frustrated with herself as she walked back over to Wendy. ''Messed up, what darling? You didn't mess anything up,'' Noelle said, biting her bottom lip. Surely, if she were to drive, Noelle could only think of bad possibilities. I die in a car accident, with me to blame cause I could barely walk straight, I could allow Wendy to drive to the motel but, then what? Tell her and her brother that I was planing to screw them both, emotionally hurting them. Worst comes to worst, I'll have to put my focus on Wendy and ruin all other connections but, its not that easy Noelle thought, her brows furrowed. ''Come,'' Noelle said, grasping Wendy's hand, leading her to the car. ''You can drive, right? I need you to take me somewhere, just..'' Noelle said, her words drifting off with the cold wind. What was she to say to prepare Wendy? ''Just, be rational I suppose. Or play along?'' Noelle mumbled underneath her breath.
-
Wendy blinked. What are you talking about? She asked as she climbed in the car.
Andy frowned when he checked his mail and saw a letter from Chelsys mother. It was a normal letter. Except for the money to pay for classes at the university. Andys ex fianc was a genius. Both socially and professionally. She left to work at Princeton and wouldnt move back or let Andy visit her. So they began to fight and got divorced. -
Sitting, in the passenger seat, Noelle ignored her question, buckling herself in. ''You know how to drive, right?'' Noelle questioned, handing over her keys. ''Just drive to the, um,'' Noelle said, mumbling as she tried to remember the motel name. ''Motel Atlantis, I believe,'' Noelle said, slouching forward. She held her forehead in her hands. ''I'm meeting someone there, someone I met before but, only once and we did barely talk,'' Noelle hummed, hinting towards her meeting with Andy.
-
Uh... Okay? Who? Wendy asked, starting on the engine. She wondered if she should leave. But Noelle was her only chance for love. Wendy sighed as she began to drive.
-
''Someone you know personally,'' Noelle said, leaning her head against the window. She gazed outside, looking at the pedestrians and cars zipping by. Noelle could see how tht city somewhat transformed into a tourist spot as she began to see more people with their phone out as well as cameras. Noelle whipped out her phone, pulled up Andy's contact and sent him another message. She made sure to hide her phone from Wendy's line of vision. I hope to see you soon Noelle texted, adding some emojis, one of the traditional winky face and one with heart eyes. God, she was drunk. Pressing send, Noelle snickered, clicking her phone off. She redirected her attention to the window once more, a smile on her face.

Wendy tensed a bit as she pulled into the parking lot for the hotel. She wasnt sure she wanted Noelle to get to know anyone she knew.
Andy tensed a bit when he saw Jennifers text. He sighed and texted her back.
Andy: How long are you staying in town for? -
Noelle felt the urge to vomit, taking refuge to a bush having slammed open the car door. Hands on her knees, Noelle took a moment to relax her tense body as she waited for the urge to vomit. Taking a breath, she glanced at her phone, responding to the text. Only for another day, kids had enough time at their grandparents' house. Just come over, just for an hour? Noelle texted, pressing send soon after. With that Noelle, stood straight, her brows furrowed. With hope that the rather affordable motel provided toothpaste and toothbrushes to get rid of the vomit taste in her mouth.

I cant stay long. My familys having dinner tonight. Wendy told Noelle, strumming her fingers on the steering wheel. She was lost in thought. Lost in worry and suspense. They wanted me to invite you. She added.
Andy sighed. He knew what this girl wanted and what would happen if he went to this hotel. But if she wasnt going to stay in this town then maybe it wouldnt hurt for him to have some fun before going to the restaurant for dinner. He made an arrangement for his mom to pick up Chelsea as he put the envelope on the table. Then he got dressed in a nice suit and walked out the house and into his car. -
Noelle tensed at Wendy's words. ''Think I should go?'' Noelle questioned, hoping she'll say no or she had a choice. If she were to see Andy there for the two seemed close, perhaps friends, Noelle wouldn't want them to find out, at the very least not yet. ''If you want to leave you can go, you gotta look nice for the dinner,'' Noelle said, with a soft smile. Gathering the business card she hidden. Hiding the information with her hand. ''I'm sure I'm not exactly family friendly,'' Noelle said, taking some Advil. She simply swallowed the pills, the pills slipping through her throat easily.
-
Wendy nodded. Ok... I hope you feel better. Wendy told her with a week smile before driving away. Ten minutes passed as she drove home. Wendy past her brothers car on the road and was surprised to see Andys car driving on the way to the hotel. Perhaps Wendy was seeing things...
-
Noelle walked to her hotel room, stumbling often as she did so. Once reaching her hotel room Noelle began brushing her teeth and changing her clothes. She wore her remarkable ruby red lipstick and a red dress to make quite a good first impression on Andy. Noelle sat on the chair, smoking a cigarette with the window open. She fluttered her long eyelashes hoping to spot Andy before he cane to hide her ash tray, and phone. With that, she groaned realizing she allowed a stranger to take her car to go to a family dinner. ''I'll just go to get it back, in and out, no questions asked or answered,'' Noelle mumbled to herself.
-
Wendy sighed when she realized this wasnt her car. She turned around and drove to the restaurant to get her own car.
Andy pulled into the parking lot and came out of the car. He closed the door and put his hands in his pockets. What am I doing? He muttered to himself, letting out a sigh. -
Noelle quickly spotted Andy in his suit, smiling at his appearance. She walked over to the bed, crouching underneath and feeling around for her ash tray. Once feeling the glass item, Noelle rubbed out the flame in her cigarette and hid the ash tray. She sprayed perfume to mask the cigarette smell. With that, she hid the box of cigarettes in the night stand beside a packet of condoms. Humming softly, Noelle waited for the knock on her door to be heard.

Screw it. Andy sighed, entering the hotel. Im here to see a girl named Jennifer? Andy asked. He didnt know her last name so that was all he could ask. Sorry. There isnt a Jennifer here. The woman replied. Andy sighed. Then thought of something. Noelle? He asked. The woman nodded and gave him the room number. So... This was Wendys girlfriend after all. Well, maybe this was Gods way of getting back at Wendy for her sins as a child. Andy thought this as a way to cover up the messed up s*** of his situation. He stopped at the hotels bar to take a shot before he walked up the stairs.
