"This is my daughter Kate. And my son Josh." Mrs. Waller told Kamile. "Hey Kate! I have a daughter your age. Her name is Ellie. So if you ever need someone to talk to at the day camp she'll be happy to!" Kamile told Kate. "Thanks." Kate replied, rolling her eyes.

Blake finished eating her pop tarts and goes over to the couch,laying down on it.She then sighed sadly, remembering the fun times that her and Kate had together"It's so boring now since you're gone....but I'll still remember those memories of us having fun...."

Once they arrived at the forest, Kate stared at the crowd of kids. There were some cute boys there. But for some odd reason... They didn't attract her attention. At least not as much as a girl with raven black hair, sharp green eyes, and sun kissed skin who was sitting on a log with her eyes closed did. She's pretty... Kate thought, walking over to the girl as her mother registered them. Josh ran off to join the other younger kids.

Blake then took her necklace off and starts humming a soft tune,playing with the charm as she looked out the window.She then decides that she will sign up for a job in a few days and possibly buy a guitar and have guitar lessons.Blake smiled as she was ready to get a job.

The girl looked up as Kate came over. Kate could see the girls green eyes. "Hello. Who might you be?" The girl asked in a voice that sounded soft, deep pitched, and high toned. "Uh... I'm Kate." Kate told her. "Hello. My name is Ellie." The girl told her. "Hi... Uh... I think you live across the road from me." Kate to.d Ellie. "Oh you're the new girl?" Ellie asked. Kate nodded nervously.

Blake then sat up as she turned off the TV and goes up to her bedroom and sitting down on her bed.

Ellie's eyes lit up. "Great! I can help you unpack after camp." Ellie offered. "Ok. Thanks!" Kate blurted, smiling. She didn't know why she was enjoying this girls presence... Wasn't Kate supposed to hate everything about the move? Unfortunately not. "You know... I never saw you at school." Kate told Ellie, sitting beside her. "I'm in the French High School." Ellie explained. "Oh. Okay." Kate replied.

Blake then went into the bathroom to take a shower.

After camp, the two girls walked to Kate's house. "I have an MP3 player in my room. We could listen to music while we unpack." Ellie suggested. "Cool!" Kate cheered, hoping this girl liked Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Lorde, Katy Perry, etc.

Blake hummed a song as she adjusted the water to the right temperature before discarding her clothes and getting into the shower.

"Okay! I got it!" Ellie cheered as they entered the house. They carried a box of clothes to Kate's room and began to unpack. "You have really pretty dresses!" Ellie remarked as she hooked up her MP3 player.

(We can time skip to the weekend when Blake's mom is leaving for the ski trip and Blake's father is trying to convince her not to go.)

"Honey! It's going to be fine! Even if it does blizzard, I'll stay in the cabin." Mrs. Ryder insisted. "Donnie... I know you like to take risk..." Wally replied. "But you don't have to go." He insisted. "Wally dear... You're over reacting. Did you take your pills today?" Mrs. Ryder asked. Mr. Ryder sighed and took the pills for his condition that caused out burst in fear, anxiety, sadness, and anger. It took a few minutes but he calmed down. "Be safe Donnie." He told his wife, hugging her goodbye.
