SHe sighed in relief and kept drawing the picture of her dad -
(We can eye the mom at work. You want to be her new friend at work who is Kevin's mom? Or would you rather be the boss?)

After school, Mary (Rachel's mom) waited for Rachel. She had big news to tell!

Rachel got ot of school and she walked home to see her mom

"I got the job!" Mary cheered when her daughter entered. "And at work, my partner is so cool! We got along great!" Mary cheered as she hanged Rachel's back pack on the hook.

Rachel hugged her om and said"That's so great Mom!"

"The best part is she has two children in your age group! So you'll have someone to hang out with when they come over! So you can meet them, they are coming over for dinner tonight!" Mary cheered.
(So in Rachel's mind, she gets guaranteed best friends forevor! Which in my mind would be exciting.) -
Rachel grinned , new friends,peopel she could hang out with ... "Thanks Mom!I'm gonna get ready!" she toldher and ran upstairs to get ready
