She put the thing up and said"Uh....Yeah?" as she tried to focus on her meal

"There is a dance in a couple of weeks. Would you..." he began, sitting beside her. He took a deep breath. "Would you like to go with me?" He whispered in her ear.

She turned red, and she thought 'I don't want to end up like mom' but she said softly"Uh sure,as friends right?" she faked a laugh and said"OF course you meant as friends" nd stood up taking her plate with her and went to throw her food away

"Uh... sure... We can go as friends." He replied, blushing. He frowned when she wasn't looking but faked a smile.

She sighed in relief and faked a smll laugh and said"Seey at after school?" and pulled the pencil out of her bunned hair

Kevin frowned and picked up the drawing of him she dropped. Why was she showing signs of liking him if she didn't like him? He sighed and put the picture in his pocket.

She didn't notice and smiled at him a fake smile,she wanted to go with him but...She didn't want to enup like her mom,she smiled at him and said"I'll see you after school!" and racced to here next class

"Okay." He replied, not sure if their parents were meeting that day or not. Once she was gone he punched the table angrily. That hurt his fist... So he growled and kicked the table. That didn't work either.

She raced to class and sat down , since she was the only one there she hit her head on the desk repeatdly

After school, Mary was working on a cake with Talia. Talia saw the time and called Kevin and Clover. "You'll have to walk to Rachel's house with her." She told them. "Ok." Kevin replied. He wasn't sure if he wanted to walk with her or not. Then he decided it was good to spend time with her. Maybe he could change her mind. "Hey! My mom told me and Clover to walk to your house with you." Kevin told her, walking beside her.
