Mary stopped and just turned visible her hair soaking , wearing the same clothes as yesterday

"What are you doing on the pond?" He asked.

" I honestly don't know anymore" she said sighing

Derek laughed, "Come on out."

Mary stepped out careful not to hit any of the fish.She sat on the ground .

Derek wondered if she even went home that night.

Mary shivered'that pond was freezing'

Derek squat down and stared at her.

Mary looked up at him

"Why are you still in that same dress?" He asked

Her eyes widened"I fell asleep on my couch" she lied

"Couch? At the love garden?" He stared at her eyes to get the truth.

Mary looked down , "There is no couch at the Love Garden" she said being sarcastic

"You slept on the bench." Derek stood up.

"Would if I did?" she asked shivering again.
