"What plan? I said you ruined everything! And you're asking me what my plan is!? Why didn't you ask that question before you dragged us downstairs!?" Corki asked.

"Listen. You say we need to escape. I actually come up with a plain. The only way to get out is out that door and down the stairs. I had the chance to get the door open. The door was open, but I had gen seconds before it closed again. So, what would you have done!?!" Kendra clarified, trying to sound calm.

Genesis rolled his eyes at the girls bickering "my friend, do you fly away now? To a world that abhors you and I?

Kendra rolled her eyes. "You know, nothing you say makes sense!" She yelled as tears rolled down her cheeks. She wasn't really mad at them... She just was mad at herself...
Riley listened to them talk. She sighed and read a book to take her mind off her fears for a while. A couple of hours later, her father unlocked her door and told her to come down for dinner. She wasn't allowed to bring dinner for her new friends. -
Genesis sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall

Genesis started humming softly

"No body knows the trouble I've seen..." Kendra began to sing. She stopped, wondering if that was out of line...

Genesis smiled faintly and. Continued humming

Corki stared at her foot and took off her shoes, seeing her toes were swollen.

"Nobody knows my sorrow." She sang. Riley listened to them, finally understanding what was happening. No wonder they hated her... She sighed as she returned to her room.

Corki knocked on the door, so Riley could come help her with something.

Genesis smiled and listened to her sing
