Gerald sarcastically said "Oh, sure I have tons of money for that, considering I have to steal to survive at times."

"I... I'm sorry... I... I meant I could bring the supplies..." Mary replied, feeling a little guilty as she stared at the floor.

Gerald said "Don't worry about it. It's not fancy but it's fine for living in."

The girl's decided changing the subject was a good idea. So they walked to the markets.

Gerald followed them. He kept getting dirty looks from some of the shopkeepers cause they knew he was a thief.

After looking around, the girl's snuck back into the castle. "Today was pretty fun, huh!?!" Ella asked, hiding the rope and flopping onto her bed.

Gerald said 'Yeah it was pretty fun. It was nice to hang out again."

"Yeah." Ella smiled as the servants brought a large platter for her lunch. The lunch was a large roast chicken, potatoes, carrots, and bread covered in cheese. She thanked the servant and split her meal to share with Gerald.

Gerald said "Thanks." and started eating.

After lunch, Ella began to draw again.

Gerald gave his bones to his dog and asked "What are you drawing?"

"The stains on my dress. Maybe I can make them look pretty so Mom won't mind." She answered, drawing the mud and grass stain patterns from when Eric knocked her down.

Gerald said "I see. Maybe it will work."

"Worst casenario is that mom burns the dress." Ella answered, shrugging as she smudged colored ink on her picture.
