Gerald said "It looks like you're holding something. Let me see it."

"No! I'm not letting a thief hold my stuff!" Eric yelled, sitting down. The kings and queens didn't even notice that he wasn't there when they learnt he was a thief. Elizabeth returned and sat with Gerald. Causing Queen Violet to roll her eyes.

Gerald said "If he doesn't want to show his pockets I'm pretty sure that means he's hiding something."

"Did Gerald take anything from your room?" Queen Violet asked. Ignoring what Gerald said. "Yes mother. There was nothing stolen." She lied. She would talk to Gerald later about the missing items. But there was no need to tell her mom, because she wasn't sure Gerald took them.

Gerald said "See? I didn't steal a thing. You can trust me."

Everyone sighed for their own reasons. Then they returned to eating. Of course... The food was cold now. So no one actually finished eating.

Gerald finished his food. Cold or not, it was still good to him.

After dinner, Elizabeth took Gerald to her room. She closed the door, locked it. Closed the windows, locked them. And closed all the curtains. "Do you know where my Jewlerry box went?" She asked him.

Gerald said "No, but I thought you said you trusted me?"

"If I didn't trust you I would have told my mom. Do you know anyone else who would have stolen it? You are my gaurd, so you have to watch for these things." Elizabeth asked.

Gerald said "We'll I noticed Eric had something in his pocket that was box shaped, but he wouldn't show it?"
