Hey there! My name is Andi, and as you might notice, I've been here for a while. I have plenty of experience roleplaying. It has been a while, I'll be honest, but I've started writing more and want to get involved in it again. There's just something about roleplaying with people... Developing characters and worlds, building stories and creating friendships through a mutual enjoyment. I love it so very much, and miss it. So, I'm pretty excited to be here.
Just a few things about me, personally:
-I am a student who is involved in several after-school activities. I won't let that keep me from being as active as possible, but I won't be around all the time. I'll be honest, I'd much rather roleplay than do homework, but I've got to keep my GPA up. I'm more than happy to let my roleplay partners know at the start of each day when I'll be free, and if I'll be absent for a few days. (That won't happen often.)
-As you may have guessed... I'm pretty talkative. If you'd like me to abstain from OOC conversation, I'll certainly try, but I like discussing ideas and such. Sometimes I get random spurts of inspiration for plot twists, and I like running them by my partner before hand. It's just something I do.
-My time zone is CT.
-I'd be more than happy to give my partners off-site contacts. I have tumblr, kik and an email that I use frequently. Just ask for what you want.
Roleplay information:
- I'll be frank, one-liners are a bit boring to me. If you don't have anything to type more than a sentence about, nothing is really happening. I understand that sometimes things get slow, but I like to avoid them the best I can.
-I love romance as a sub-plot, but can do without it.
-I'll do just about any genre other than Fandom, comedy or horror. Sorry. Personal preference, I don't exactly have an explanation.
-I can roleplay both male and female characters but I prefer male. Don't know why.
-Anything that you are uncomfortable with happening needs to be disclosed before we ever start roleplaying. I don't want to have to backtrack. Sorry if that sounds rude! I know that some stuff can disturb people (war, abuse, ect.,) and am more than happy to avoid such things, just please let me know. Personally, I think a lot of darker elements (within reason, of course) make for great plot devices.
-This is always the most awkward thing: In relation to my love for romantic sub-plots, I am happy with ANY gender pairing. (MxF, FxF, MxM.) That said, I prefer MxF and MxM, the latter a bit more than the former. Again, I don't care and I'm happy to compromise.
-I have SEVERAL plots, and multiple starter ideas. I'd love to share, and to hear yours. Just shoot me a genre and I'll see what I have to work with. Some of them are fairly lengthy, but I love them all. Also, some of them would involve each of us playing as more than one character- Be sure to tell me if that's okay, please. I'll try to remember to ask.
-I am more than happy to do a test run/give you a sample or my roleplay style to make sure we're compatible.

PLOTS:
THE HOLLOW:
Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Optional Romance
Pairings: MxF/MxM/FxF
Other Notes: Can be college students instead of high school. Warning for war and eventual character death.
Spring Break. The group of friends had been waiting almost all of their high-school career for this very moment. This was their last break together, and, to make is special, they were all going up state, planning to camp near the lake. They packed their things, piled into the mini van, and drove for hours to reach their destination.
The first hint that something was off was the lack of other campers. It was Spring Break, after all, but the grounds seemed almost deserted other than a couple hikers and fishers. The friends shrugged it off, though, and pitched camp. To kick the week off, they planned to go swimming at night, and then dry off at the bonfire and roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Or, at least, they would have. Once in the water, one of them is dunked under as a joke- Only, they don't come back up. Distraught, the others dive in to try and locate their missing friend, only to find themselves being pulled down by currents that seem like fingers wrapping around their ankles. They struggle, but, before long, they black out.
The friends should have been dead. However, they wake up on the bank of a lake, but not the one they were camping at. Confused, the group learns that they've been transported to a mythical place that, according to everything they knew, shouldn't have existed. The Hollow. The Hollow, as they learned, was home to all the creatures of legends and fairy tails, and even ones that they hadn't heard of before. The strange world was a safe haven for those hunted to extinction in the worlds they originated from. However, at the time the friends showed up, the Hollow was under attack by something else. The things of nightmares, the creatures that were used to scare small children into behaving, only real, and much, much more deadly. Demons, as the creatures of the Hollow called them. Demons that were destroying their world, and everything they had created.
Of course, the group of friends have no idea how any of this relates to them. They just want to get home, but, apparently, that's not possible. Not without speaking to the queen of the Hollow, anyways. So, in desperation, the travel to the heart of the Hollow, meeting many strange beings on their way. That's the least of their worries, though. The queen informs them that she can't let them go home. Not during the war, because the portals between their realms are unsteady, and the friends could end up in some much more.. Unkind places, as she puts it. However, she does have an idea of how they can get home. A prophecy that was wrote long ago states that comers from a different land would save them in a time of need. She isn't quite sure that some thin-limb-ed humans can win a war, but she's willing to try. And, in return for their help, she'll grant them passage home. The friends, wanting only to leave, agree. The queen assigns a few of her best warriors to train them, and escort them to the battle field, where the friends will find that there was one part of the prophecy they weren't informed of- Some of them wouldn't be returning home.
THROUGH THE WISHING WELL:
When Muse A was young, his family lived in a countryside town with a population so small that the school there only had two teachers per grade level- It also meant that everyone knew everyone from the moment of their birth. Muse A never had much luck making friends, though he didn't really mind. He vastly preferred spending his hours exploring the expanse of forest behind his house during all their spare time.
One day, Muse A encounters Muse B in the woods. They're the same age but they've never met, which is abnormal. Muse B simply says that he's been homeschooled, and that his parents don't go into town much. They hit it off instantly and become insanely close friends, despite Muse A never learning anything about Muse A's family or home life- They never even learn Muse B's last name.
About a year after meeting Muse B, Muse A's parents get a divorce and he moves with his mother to the city, never getting a chance to say goodbye to their strange friend. Whenever he tried to tell his mother about Muse B, she insisted that he was just an imaginary friend created by the mind of a lonely child. Muse A came to believe this after a few years, writing Muse B off as the product of an over-active imagination.
When Muse A graduates school a number of years later, they head back to their home town to spend the summer with his father. The first night there, he decides to explore the woods as he did in his childhood. Armed with a pocket knife and a lantern, Muse A heads out-
Only to encounter Muse B, also a number of years older, but otherwise obviously the same boy Muse A befriended all those year -

Muse B runs off before Muse A can speak, so he follows him, all the way to a crumbling, ancient wishing well. Muse B finally stops running, but right when Muse A is about to grab them and demand answers, they launch themselves into the well, disappearing into the black hole in the earth.
Confused and curious, Muse A follows. When they awaken in a strange land, they're sure the fall has killed him- But Muse B holds out a hand, and welcomes him to his realm.
SORCERER X HUMAN PRINCE:
Genre: Fantasy, Romance. Warning for war and possible side character death.
Pairing: Again, written for MxM, can be changed.
Other: I'd prefer the Sorcerer Prince, but can do either.
Muse A, a young sorcerer prince, grew up in a beautiful sea-side palace, east of where Muse B lived. His father was one of the most powerful sorcerers, and a very fearsome king. Muse B's father, in turn, was ruler of a kingdom in which the use of magic was banned and punishable by death.
This would have been fine if the two lands hadn't laid side-by-side. Eventually, a war broke out between the two. It lasted for over a decade, claiming the lives of hundreds- Including the two kings.
Both Muse A and Muse B know that the war needs to end- So, they arrange for Muse B to travel to Muse A's palace, and begin peace negotiations. However, they don't exactly see eye to eye on, well, anything. Not to mention the fact that someone inside the castle may very well be trying to murder both of the new kings...
PRINCE(SS) DIARIES:
Genre: Modern, Drama, Optional Romance
Paring: Preferably MxM, can be flipped to straight, buuuuut... Also optional romance.
Other: No character preference
It was a fairy tale kind of love that brought Muse A's grand parents together. His grandfather, heir to the throne of their small country, and his grandmother civilian that he encountered by chance while touring the town. They married, though the public made it clear that hardly anyone approved of their relationship. Now a king, Muse A's grandfather made a hard choice after yet another attempt was made on his wife's life. He sent her to America, keeping their only child, a son with them. When Muse A's grandmother arrived in America, though, she chose to dismiss her identity and start over after a shocking discovery- She was pregnant again.
In a haste, she married, and had the child, the other man believing it was his. The king, Muse A's grandfather, made many attempts to contact her, but was never able to. Her secret died with her.
Years later, Muse A's father, now married with one son of his own, gets a call from his older brother, who has gone through hell to get in contact with him. He was never able to have a child of his own. Luckily, Muse A's father agrees to entrust his sons care on his brother.
Muse A, however, could not be more upset. Leaving his life in California, his friends, his home, to go learn how to be a prince in a country he's never even heard of sounds like a death sentence.
When he arrives, it's clear that he's more than reluctant to learn anything. His uncle, fed up with his behavior, recruits the help of his best friend's son, in hopes that someone Muse A's own age can do a better job. Muse B, the son of a one of the most trusted noble's in the king's court happily accepts the task, though he has no clue what he's getting into. The next few months are spent trying to teach Muse A years of proper upbringing. Muse A is slowly getting there, but not near fast enough.
Of course, there's really no rush.. Until word of the king's condition gets out. The king, fatality ill, needs Muse A to step up and take his place as soon as possible. Muse A, though, is completely over whelmed, ready to give up. Muse B, though, assures them that they'll be there every step of the way. -
Below plots taken from
TALES OF THE HIGH SEAS:
Genre: Historical, Romance
Pairing: Any
Other: Very slight character preference for Muse B.
Muse A is the child of wealthy man living in a seaside town; theyve always been afraid of the sea, yet oddly fascinated by it. When Muse A was a child, the ship they were sailing on was attacked by pirates and they were barely able to escape. Although the lure of the sea has always been there, Muse A has since refused to ever board another ship. Several years after their brush with pirates, in the dead of night, a suspicious ship sets anchor a little ways away from shore. Pirates make landfall and begin to pillage and plunder the town. The militia stationed in the town are quick to react and a fierce battle breaks out. With the perfect distraction created, the captain of the ship, Muse B, heads for the most opulent-looking manor.
Muse B breaks in to Muse As home and begins to raid Muse As late mothers jewelry. In an attempt to stop Muse B, Muse A steals one of their fathers swords and holds the pirate at sword point. Since Muse A has never had any kind of training, they are easily overpowered by Muse B. Upon taking a closer look at Muse A, Muse B decides that they are worth far more than any bejeweled trinkets. So Muse B offers a proposition; in exchange for ending the bloodshed and leaving port, Muse A must come aboard Muse Bs ship as a captive. Muse A is terrified, but they are kind-hearted and wish to protect their town, so they reluctantly agree. So now Muse A must face their fears and leave their life behind. How will they fare and what will their relationship be like with Muse B?
BRAVING THE ELEMENTS:
Genre: Fantasy, Historical (Sorta, anyways), Romance
Pairing: Any
Other: I don't have a character preference.
Muse A is coming of age in their magical family. On their 18th birthday, they learn what element (water, air, earth, or fire) they have been gifted with. Muse A has been under the impression and hope that they will have inherited the same element that their parents and grandparents have been blessed with, however they come to discover that they have been bestowed with the opposite element. According to rules set forth in the familys grimoire, Muse A must learn to master their gift from a witch/warlock who possesses the same elemental power as they do. Muse B, who has the same element as Muse A, becomes Muse As reluctant mentor. Muse B is brilliant and powerful, but lacks in the department of manners and compassion, especially when Muse A shows difficulty harnessing their new abilities. Muse B is condescending and impatient often without provocation. One day, Muse A meets their wits end with Muse Bs treatment and they demand to know why Muse B is so hostile toward them. Muse B reveals that they come from rival families and they are only teaching Muse A due to the terms of a 1,000 year old truce. Once Muse A has mastered their gift, however, the ceasefire will be over. And the families will once again be at odds.
THE TREE:
Genre: Historical, Romance
Pairing: Any, but preferably MxM or FxF.
Other: No character preference!
Muse A has been groomed since birth to be a respectable noble-person, constantly reminded to practice the etiquette proper for their gender and expected to anticipate the day they will meet a well-bred suitor. Muse B has never enjoyed the privileged life despite being within arms reach of it; theyve worked on the estate grounds for Muse As family since they were a mere child and have observed the high life of the aristocracy all the while with envious eyes. Perhaps due to their contrary social standings, Muse A has always been fascinated with Muse B and vice versa. With Muse A constantly under the watchful eye of their chaperone, Muse A and Muse B have resorted to leaving letters for one another in an old tree on the property; theyve been planning for several days to meet one another in secret.
CUFFING SEASON:
Genre: Romance, Drama
Pairing: Any
Other: No character preference
Muse A is a police officer who doesnt exactly go by the book, in fact they probably spend more time cavorting with criminals than capturing them. When Muse A finds themself romantically entangled with Muse B, a criminal, its easy for them to turn a blind eye to Muse Bs illicit activities (especially when Muse Bs boss puts Muse A on a special payroll for keeping their business off police radar). Over time, Muse A is welcomed into Muse Bs crime family, so long as they leave their badge at home.
This year, Muse A is up for a promotion - its so close that they can taste it. If they can arrest a notorious boss, theyre certain that the promotion is theirs. No problem. Muse A can simply hand over one of their lovers enemies, right? As Muse A is scheming, the police chief calls a meeting. The chief unveils the newest person-of-interest, expressing in no uncertain terms that this is the perpetrator they want brought down next. Muse A is conflicted when they immediately recognize the person-of-interest as Muse Bs relative/boss, someone whom theyve sat across from at the dinner table on several occasions, someone very dear to their lover, someone who will go after everyone in Muse As family if theres even a suspicion of betrayal. -
