"Team rocket? I heard that there's a team that used to be members of Team Rocket. But they didn't know that team rocket hurt Pokmon. They just wanted to hurt people. But when they realized the truth, they made a team to protect Pokmon from people like team rocket!" Olivia chattered.

Roxanne grimaced at the mention of team rocket. As far as she knew, they've been disbanded for a while now, but there were stragglers that would show up in Goldenrod once in a blue to try and recruit. She's only encountered one once, and... he was pretty pathetic, really. That was a while ago, and for all Roxanne knew they only got more of a following.
She looked at route one. As cliche as it felt to think, Roxanne thought of this as a new beginning. Not exactly a fresh start, but close enough to one. -
Alyona laughed softly and shrugged. "I shall crush them if I ever cross paths with the bandits. That is all I need to know." She stretched slightly before turning to look at route 1, the road that would officially begin her Journey in Kanto. "Well, let us go, Lead." And with that as well as a confident look on her face, she and Lead went walking through route 1.
-
Dustin said "That's the spirit. Let's go." Our heroes walked the way of Route 1 on their way to Pewter City for their first gym badge. Dustin looked at his map and said "Okay, in order to get to Pewter City, We'll need to get to Viridian City and through the Viridian City." Just then, a Rattata came out of nowhere. Dustin ran behind Oliva and said "Ahhh, a rat, a rat! Kill it, kill it, kill it!"
-
(Oops, error, and through Viridian Forest.)

"I'm talking about a different team that quit team rocket to protect Pokmon." She told them, rolling her eyes. She wasn't always this rude. Back in Hown, she was the nicest girl there! And did excellent in contest! But, she was attacked by team Aqua. And her kindness got her in big trouble... She sighed at the memory. And remembered the promise to stop being little miss sweet heart. "Do you people have ears? Perhaps you should use them." She laughed.
(I'm thinking Olivia eventually starts to like Dustin, but Dustin likes Roxanne.) -
Archaios hummed softly as he looked around for any wild pokemon.

Roxanne looked at the different groups of trainers, all going their own ways. She could stick with a couple of them. Being a part of a group would be nice. But then again, they all seemed content with where they were, she might just be a nuisance to them. Of course, Roxanne knew that she was blowing this hypothetical scenario out of proportion, but that was how she was when she didn't speak a lot. Which was... a lot of the time, Roxanne would have to admit.
After a moment's consideration, Roxanne decided to trail behind Alyona a few yards, but not too close that she would notice. At least, Roxanne hoped she wouldn't. -

Alyona looked around for any potential trainers to fight, but all she found were wimpy looking kids with pokemon. "I mean, I suppose we all start somewhere, but we're looking for more of a challenge, right, Lead?" She said, looking down at her Sneasle. The pokemon nodded up at her in agreement. "Right then. We need someone worthy of our time, not a first-time trainee."

(To answer your question, Magie, that sounds like a wonderful idea. But I think it might be better if Dustin had a crush on both Olivia and Roxanne and couldn't decide who he liked more.)
Vulpix jumped up into Dustin's arm, also afraid of the Rattata. Rowlet, despite also being afraid, stood in front of the Rattata and puffed his chest out for intimidation. The Rattata tilted its head in confusion and just scurried away. Dustin and his Pokmon blew a sigh of relief and he turned to his friends. He sarcastically said to his friends "Hey, thanks for helping me with that Rattata, guys. Do you realize I could have been killed if Rowlet didn't do something?" -
(Magie, over here.)
-
"Oh please. It was only a Ratata." Olivia sighed, rolling her eyes. When the others continued, she whispered to Rowlette without anyone noticing. "That was very brave of you Rowlette!" She whispered. And it was the truth. She knew Rowlette was scared, even though it was just a rat. But being scared of something and facing it anyway was the definition of brace. No matter how big the challenge was physically, it was a large emotional challenge for Rowlette. Rowlette was very brave in order to achieve that.
