When he woke up, he found himself feeling slightly s---ty. Grumbling incoherently, he slid out of bed, rubbing his eyes so he would feel more awake. He easily pulled on a clean out which only consisted of a black hoodie, a tattered jean jacket, jeans, and Reebok club champions. He lazily brushed his hair out, not taking the time to actually style it. He allowed it to sit on his head naturally. With that, he grabbed whatever he thought he would need for the day, exiting the house and trudging to the nearest bus stop. Once there, he sat, waiting for the gigantic vehicle to arrive as he was placed in the middle of a shady old man and a quiet African American woman who was talking to herself. Once the bus slid to a screeching halt, he hurriedly entered, tossing in the fare. It was easy to fall asleep once inside, only waking up when the person near him shook him to ask for a spare dollar. He saw that the stop he needed was up, so he left a dollar with the person, hurrying off of the bus and walking the rest of the way. When he found himself standing in front of the door of the Delacour household, he swallowed heavily, knocking with a rhythmic tone to it.

Powder NewbieThe oak door swung open, revealing a tall woman with curled black hair, a dress and a grin as she greeted him and invited him in. The shower was still running as a thin blond man was eating toast and watching TV, a small blond copy of her mother quietly playing with blocks in front of him on the smooth rug. Rosado finally slid down, a black t-shirt and jeans clothing him as he sleepily ignored zander as if he were a regular stranger and slid into the kitchen, the sound of bustling and pans clattering emerging from it. The woman sat zander down and read off a mental clipboard "so you are zander maverick, correct?"

I'm back dawg
Zander hesitantly entered the home, smiling back at the woman who greeted him. He clutched the straps of the backpack he had brought along, taking notice of the other individuals that he could spot. His actions were weary, almost as though he was afraid he had gotten the wrong house. How could he have missed it, however? It was not hard to mix up. Once he spotted Rosado, his fears were placated, but it appeared as though he was being avoided like the plague, so he directed his attention back to the mother. He nodded at her query, swallowing back forcibly. "Yeah, I'm Zander." -

BARK
"Good. You'll be watching my daughter and helping out my son for today and tomorrow, correct-" the man laughed softly "Jesus's devil, angelica, he knows." The little girl looked up, blinking her brown eyes at the new person "mommy, who's this?" The woman introduced the little girl to zander optimistically, and the girl smiled sweetly and walked over "I'm Cortana angelica delacour, or Corey!" She chirped.
Rosado finally came out and smiled at seeing zander sitting on the couch as the woman listed off what needed to be done before she and her husband bid their children goodbye and left, their Mercedes speeding off. -
BORK BORK
He listened to the woman intently, acting uncharacteristically sheepish as he made a mental note of everything she deemed necessary to be completed. He slowly removed his backpack, setting it on the floor near the couch. The teenager thanked the woman for allowing him to do the job, looking to Corey when the parents made their departure. He rubbed his hands together, smiling at the girl. "Hiya, Corey, I'm Zander. What do you like to do?" He tilted his head, speaking in a very soft and gentle voice. Something favorable about Zander was his capability of dealing with children. Something about them made him forget his awfully careless, party-hard side. They brought out the affectionate and tender Zander, the kind that needed to stick around more often. -
Powder NewbieCorey smiled cutely at zander before listing off simple things a regular kindergartner would like, "I like movies, or playing outside, or rollerskating, or playing with blocks, or Legos, and that's it so far."
Rosado wishedhis mother wasn't so compulsive for everything to be right as he sat down next to zander and Corey smiled "and I like games!" -
Zander's eyes grew soft as he allowed himself to completely immerse himself in the conversation with the young girl. He nodded at each answer, smiling widely. "I like movies, too. I think the really scary ones though. Grrrr!" While he growled, he threw his hands up like claws, laughing. "But, you said you like games. Are there any specific games that you like?" He waited for her answer, not exactly paying attention to Rosado. In all honesty, he was rather embarrassed from the last time they had come into contact. His new friend had not deserved to see him in an intoxicated state, and he did not want to risk bringing the situation up once again.

Powder NewbieCorey giggled when he talked about his favorite kind of movies and said "yeah, like board games and stuff." She lit up as she ran upstairs and came back with a monopoly set, "this is my favorite!"
Rosado smiled sgain at his younger sisters perky attitude as he assumed zander was embarrassed for the last incident. He truly didn't care at all about that as he listened to her chatter, his eyes thoughtful as he thinker about whatever he was. -
Zander watched her cautiously, just in case something were to happen on their watch. Once she returned, his eyes opened and lit up happily. "No way! That is my favorite, too! I used to play it a whole lot, but I don't have anyone to play with usually. I think...we should all play together!" He threw a glance to Rosado, raising his eyebrows hopefully. He could remember the many times he had played the strategy game with his parents, how they slowly stopped playing with him as he grew older. Being capable of returning to his youth through the simple pieces and plays involved with Monopoly would be the perfect way to start the day.

Powder NewbieCorey gave rosado a look, a mixture of what general tot cuteness and puppy dog eyes as he smiled, relented and helped her unbox the set. She had difficulty as he gently helped her, eventually setting out the brightly colored board with best stacks of fake trademarked money spread between them. He never really played boardgames but the prospect of trying it out lit him up as he helped Corey recite the rules excitedly.
