Zander held a smile on his face as they began to play, his face brighter than it had been in a very long time. It felt relatively enjoyable, something like a family out of a major motion picture. He carefully counted out his money every time he bought a property, moving his piece around. Throughout the entire game, he was somewhat quiet as he wanted to remain as strategic as possible. As they continued, he found himself with three out of the four railroads, his favorite aspect of the game. When he was younger, he had an obsession with trains, usually buying every locomotive that was to be put onto the market.

Rosado watched as his sister pulled a sneaky move and best zander, playfully sticking out her tongue. Rosado was 3rd place as he hadn't really put any effort to the game as Corey declared them watch a movie which turned out to be Chucky. She wasn't traumatized or anything really by the sight, surprisingly. -

Zander blinked in disbelief at the extremely intricate scheme that the young girl had formed, narrowing his eyes when he came in second place. Once they cleaned the game up, he listened to the suggestion, raising his eyebrows. He did not hold the expectation that the girl would have been interested in horror movies, but he said nothing of it. "Sure, Chucky it is." He watched as the movie was set up into the VCR, leaning back against the couch with his arms crossed. He had seen the movie a few times already, but he never minded watching it again. -

Corey just smiled proudly as she flipped on the couch and explained "mommy was a friend of the director and we got the uncut first version." Rosado nodded as the new version showed more violence, a darker plot and every character died horribly in the end. Corey just squealed and rosado was calm. -

Zander watched the movie in a much more tranquil manner than he had when they went to the theaters. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he knew what had been making him nervous. Horror movies had always been easy to handle in his opinion, and the uncut version of Chucky was no different. When it was over and the young girl had gone off to play with her blocks, he looked to Rosado. "I'm supposed to be here tomorrow, too, and I didn't catch if I am supposed to sleep over or go home and come back in the morning." -

Corey soon fell asleep peacefully as if it had been a simple children's movie. Rosado explained "mom wants you to sleep over. You have the guest room." He beckoned him to guide him around the house and show him his room. -

Zander allwoed himself to be escorted after grabbing his backpack. When he was shown around the guest room, he thanked Rosado quietly. Before the other boy was about to exit, however, he grabbed his arm. "I want to, um, apologize for you having to see me like that the other day. I know it was probably disgusting." He seemed genuinely apologetic, his eyes soft and his cheeks red with awful embarrassment. His eyebrows were tightly knitted together, hoping silently that the other would find it in his heart to forgive him. -

luckily what he hoped for came true as rosado said "Not your fault, really." and left. the guest room was lavish, the bathtub literally a hottub and just everything richly decorated. -

Zander grew confused at the statement, sitting on the bed while he admired the magnificence of the room. As aforementioned, he had always found his own family to be at least well off and near the upper class. After seeing Rosado's family and their standard of living, however, he was astonished. How people could have so much money absolutely amazed him. As he had not taken a shower in two days, he decided to make use of the bath tub, finding it to be relaxing to take one after his stressful few days. When he was finished, he dried himself off, throwing his pajamas on and hesitantly entering the bed. He feared that he would ruin something, but shook his head clear of worries as he laid against the plush, comforting surface. He sighed in relief, staring up at the ceiling as he struggled to fall asleep. -

rosado really didn't know why he said that or the meaning as he scooped up his little sister and gently carried her to her room, setting her down before slipping to his room and typing furiously on his computer. what he was doing? he didn't say. -

When he found himself unable to fall asleep after what seemed to been an eternity of attempting, he sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes and peering at the door like he would typically do at home. He wondered how difficult it would be to slip out, just to take a walk and clear his head. He very quietly threw some shoes and a hoodie on, leaving the sweatpants he was clad in on. He tiptoed to the guest room's door, closing it behind him as he gingerly slipped out. It was an enormous house. He assumed the chances of the other teen hearing him were slim. He began to make his descent down the winding staircase, peering around every now and again to make sure he was safe. Once he was at the bottom, he began to quietly step towards the front door. -

what he didn't see was corey playing with a doll underfoot as he tripped over her. she screamed and rosado nearly fell down the stairs running to where his sister was to make sure she hadn't burnt herself on the oven or something. she rubbed her head and asked zander if he was alright. -
f---IN STUPID ZANDER
Zander, directly after tripping on the girl, stumbled stupidly to the ground. He apologized promptly, staring at the girl with large, apologetic eyes. "Yes, sweetheart, I'm okay. I just wanted to go for a walk. Did I hurt you? Are you alright?" He leaned in, examining her a bit to make sure he didn't hurt her too badly. When he heard Rosado coming, he sighed heavily, aware that he would most likely get his ass chewed out. He had not expected the girl to be downstairs, under the impression that she had been asleep in her room. When he saw the boy come into sight, he erected himself quickly, apologizing gently. "I'm sorry. I was going to take a walk. I didn't mean to scare anyone." -
