brightfire NewbieLori had set up a fake snow maker so it actually looked like it was snowing hard through the windows! It added some cool effect.

Jerry picked Rosey and Lindsay up. "Is it okay if Lindsay sleeps over at the hospital dorm? Rosey wants to have a slumber party." He asked Lori on the phone.

"sure." lori mumbled with an icepack over the left side of her face. "really bad accident with the flamethrower." she explained, taking away the icepack. the left side of her face was permanently burned and her eye was slightly blind but she seemed fine. "at least it doesn't hurt!" she cheered. "and its not serious." before clicking off the phone and continuing to work on her project.

Jerry sighed and dropped off the girls at the dorm. He drove over to Lori's house and sat on her front porch. He had a large box and rested his feet on it while waiting.

lori opened it. her face was bandaged. "to stop infection. dropped by the hospital to check, just in case." she replied before stepping aside to let him in.

Jerry walked in and handed her a bottle. "Rosey, who has spent her life in the mental hospital, has been visiting the biological hospital apparently. So she's become very good at chemistry and medicine. As good as Lindsay is with tech!" Jerry laughed. "So she made a cure for permanent burns. Rub that on your burns before you go to sleep. Your skin will heal by morning." He told her, dragging the large box inside.

lori gave him a "Are you serious?" look. "jerry, i assure you, if its permanent, its PERMANENT. it cant be undone. no offense to rosey, im sure shes a genius in medicine and such, but still."

"The doctors say it's permanent because they have nothing to treat it. Rosey says that burns are just dead skin. So this medicine keeps out infections and pain while speeding up the dead skin shedding and healthy skin growing process." Jerry explained. He didn't understand it. He just read what Rosey wrote him to say if Lori said it wouldn't work.

lori countered this before sighing and taking the bottle. "burns destroy the skin there. if its destroys the skin nothing is left to heal in that area and thus it reaches the muscle and the muscle cannot regrow skin, can it?" she sat down and unwrapped the bandage before slathering it on.

Jerry sighed. "Anyways, that was her Christmas present. Maybe it heals the muscle or something." Jerry sighed. "Maybe you'll like my present better!" He smiled, opening it. Inside was an orange Christmas tree with blue lights wired in.

lori paused. "COLORS!" she squealed like a child before snatching it and admiring it while holding it in one hand before setting it up and hugging jerry.

Jerry hugged her back and chuckled. "They only had pink, blue, and white trees at the store. But since I knew you liked orange, I found a store that makes untraditional decorations and found an orange one. There was one with orange and purple lights but that was much too untraditional." He laughed.

lori chuckled as well before sitting down and snatching a cookie, chewing it.

Jerry took a cookie and ate it before she could stop him. He then did a victory pose! "Nothing's really changed has it." He realized, laughing.
