Azalea smiled and curtsied before walking to her room with a yawn, trying to hide her paleness and her sickly stumbles. She finally arrived at her room and changed, lying down with a slight grunt.

Nigel walked to the servants quarters, and went to sleep on his first bed in years.

Time skip~
Azalea woke early in the morning and yawned, sitting up, paler than usual. She stumbled out of bed and fell onto her knees, her hands shaking as she coughed up blood. -
Nigel woke up from his bed, got dressed in actually new clothes, and went to check on Azalea.

Azalea leaned against her bed, her breathing sharp and ragged. She reached for her drawer and pulled out her herbal remedy for the occasion and forced herself to keep it down, her fists balled.

Nigel knocked on the door and said "Azalea, may I come in please?"

Azalea stiffened and shakily made her way to the door, her face hidden by her hair as she pulled it open.

Nigel said "Hello, oh. Are you feeling okay today? You look really bad."

Azalea nodded slowly, the movement sending waves of pain through her body as she kept her face hidden, "I'm fine... What did you need?"

Nigel was still suspicious but, continued "I just wanted to check on you. See how you were doing."

Azalea nodded and forced a smile, revealing her sickly face to him, her lips having lost their pink color and her cheeks somewhat hollow.

Nigel saw her face and said "Okay, you don't look well at all. Maybe you should get into bed and I'll called whatever doctor lives here."

Azalea shook her head, forcing herself to straighten, "I'm fine, Nigel. Really, I promise." She brushed herself off and pulled her hair back.

Nigel said "Don't lie to me. You're not well, just stay in bed."

Azalea sighed, "Nigel, I appreciate your concern, but I can't stay in bed all day. There's a ball tonight, remember?"
