Gray almost had no reaction to the wings, other than a slight look of surprise that quickly changed back to normal. Gray sat down near Zero and pulled out a peice of candy, wondering if this would work considering he wasn't a normal child. 'Does he even eat candy?' she questioned herself. "Come on, let the police handle this. Everyone is already outside, we're waiting on you," Gray said, opening the candy and sliding it towards him slowly.

His ears went up and he tilted his head at the candy before he suddenly snatched in up and moved further away from her to nibble on the sweet, watching her curiously

Gray crawled closer to him and took a hold of the chain that lead to the collar around his neck. She started to look for a keyhole to pick. She hoped the candy would distract him.

Zero stiffened when she grabbed the chain and he growled softly at her but he didn't move, watching her warily

Gray almost sighed in relief but decided it wasn't the right time. She found a keyhole, close to his neck, and had to scoot closer to unlock it, hoping it wouldn't scare him. She pulled out a hair pin.

Zero realized what she was doing and then he moved so she would be able to get at the keyhole better

Gray smiled thankfully at Zero. She stuck in the hair pin and wiggled a bit before hearing a click and hen a blank as the chain unlocked and fell to the ground. Before Zero could get scared again, she grabbed his arm gently and helped him stand up.

Zero jumped slightly at the chain hit the ground and then he looked at her, staying on his hands and knees as he watched her curiously. A few seconds later he started sniffing at her pockets, checking to see if she had any more candy

Gray laughed at his sniffing, he was so adorable! For a child with wings and cat ears, he was cute! Gray pulled out two more leaves of candy and gave it to him before slowly tugging him towards the door.

He cooed softly and he slowly followed her as he nibble d on the candy

Gray smiled in the success before realizing the policemen had police tape and stuff around the building, which made her roll her eyes. They were such drama queens. She opened the door outside to a lot of news cameras trying to get footage of the children experiments. She hid Zero behind her.

Zero growled at the cameras and then he hid behind his wings, staying close to the woman

Gray hated this attention, but how could you ever really hide from paparazzi? A camera was suddenly in her face. "Ma'am, what's behind you. Is it one of those things?" The man asked, which extremely offended Gray. They were just like anyone else, and he dared to even call him a 'thing'! "Excuse me, sir," Gray said with clenched teeth, keeping her anger in, "I think this is official business, please leave the premises. You see the police tape." Gray suddenly thought overdramatic wasn't so bad after all.

Zero snarled at the man and his ears went flat against his head

The man pulled back slightly in fright, but then he just moved the camera closer to Zero's face, bombing him in questions. After hearing the question, "Do the girls you know in there with you have periods?" She had enough. Gray pushed the camera away and hurriedly pulled Zero towards her police car.
