She smiled, sitting down. "This table is laid beautifully," she murmured. She checked the time of her watch. It had a leather strap, which fit perfectly on her slender arm. The watch face itself was cool metal, not hard or rough. It had little gold hands, which made their way across the face, numbered with Roman numerals. She had used leather stamping materials to stamp a little picture into the leather, a flying bird.

Taiga brought out the main course. He set it on a small side table. "I hope you enjoy" he said " I'm not the best, not even close, but I don't think it's horrible". He smiled. (Gtg)

Evelia served herself some salad. She twiddled her fingers in her lap. -
Taiga for himself some salad as well. He began to eat. " Did you know any of the other pairs?" He asked. "I only knew one, Drake. Nice guy, unless you offend him. Shame he's paired up with someone who hates him."
-
"Bella, and Derek. I believe they are happy together..or I hope so." said Evelia. Bella had to be happy.
-
"It would be a shame if they weren't. Well, we best eat the lobster before it cools. Here is your half", Taiga plated the lobster and set it in front of Evelia. "That girl, I think she may push Drake over the edge, and that would be dangerous for both of them." He said.
-
"Yeah. I saw the way she was glaring." Evelia paused. "She's called Alexandra." she said, biting into some lobster.
-
"It's dangerous for them, I'm telling you. Drake, he is just naturally the best. At everything. He's always, two steps, three steps, seven steps ahead, and right when you think you caught up, poof! He's behind you and pulls the carpet from beneath your legs." He said shaking his head. "Nobody can really best him. But a girl like that, she just might break him. Then the other side of him would take over. Not the supportive leader, but unmatched dictator. It would tear him apart, two personalities, fighting it out. But, it's a match, and if he can't learn to live with it, bad results are inevitable." He finished the last bite of lobster. "I'll clear the table." Taiga stated. He proceeded to do so. When he finished he stood, staring at the wall, and let out a sigh.
-
Evelia blinked. Yes, she could picture two people getting hurt, both inside and out. Yes, they could kill themselves if they weren't careful. She didn't know what anyone could do, but she did know neither of that pair where pleased with their match. It wouldn't be pretty, that was for sure. Oh, no, it would be ugly, even. But it wouldn't and couldn't be pretty. To put it lightly. Evelia shut down the images crowding her brain.
-
Taiga looked back at her. "You alright?" He asked. "Don't worry, they'll probably be fine." He smiled. 'Keep telling yourself that' he thought.
-
Evelia sighed. Yeah..yeah, maybe. Maybe. She smiled back.
-
Taiga smoothed his hair. "It's getting late, and I have some work to do in the lawn tommorow, so I might as well sleep. Night then." He smiled and walked over to the sofa. He flopped down on it and closed his eyes. He shifted, trying to be comfortable. 'Its like trying to sleep on a rock' he thought.
-
Evelia walked over to him. "You could take the bed," she suggested. 'It's not like I'm helpless.' she thought. 'I'm no baby, nor a weakling.'
-
"Oh no, you have to keep it, I insist. I can make the sofa work." Taiga replied.
-
"If you say so," she said amiably.
