Derek returned the smile. "I'm weirder than most," Derek said. -

Evelia went downstairs. "Good morning, Taiga."

Bella jumped when the alarm went off. She pulled the muffins out and set them on a pan to cool.

"Smells delicious," Derek said.

She smiled.

"Morning Evelia. Sleep well?" He asked. He smiled and turned to the food he was cooking.

Bella smiled a "thanks", then went to sit on the soft couch.

"Um..kind of." She said. Truth was it had been awful, but why say so?

Taiga nodded. "Do you have any plans for today?" He inquired. He looked over to her.

"I don't really have any plans," Evelia said. "Why?" she asked.

Bella flipped through the Padres of the cook book she was holding.

Taiga shrugged. "No real reason. Just wanted to see if you want to meet up with those other couples."

"Okay, yeah," said Evelia like she didn't care.
