(Sh child that just happens to be older than me sh)
The angel smirked a little when he was fully dressed. That's when he heard the phone ring from downstairs. His eyes widened. Biting his lip, he glanced over to the slave. "Go to your room and get dressed." Ariel ordered. Nervous to pick up the phone, he waltzed out of the room and ran down the stairs. He found a group of the slaves standing around the phone like Sims when they get confused and start to panic. Not that that thought even crossed Ariel's mind- he had little knowledge of human history or culture. He merely had enough to get by.
He picked up the phone, doing a little wiggle as he said, "Hello?" He was surely swallowing his pride. He soon found it was Uriel, to his worst fear. He was greeted by viscous laughing, "Meet me tonight at the same place last time. Your last purchase has left you in some debt- oh, and bring that purchase. I think I'll have a bit of fun with-" The line cut off, and the angel found his heart racing. -
(but I wanna know..!)
Elliot watched the angel leave. He called out, "Yessir!" and rushed to his room. Once in there, he removed the sweatshirt, looking down at his stomach. He was pretty skinny, he noticed. Looking at his pile of clothing, the human picked out the kitty shirt and a pair of jeans. He looked at himself in the mirror and ran a hand through his hair, trying to look cool. He stroke a pose before turning and leaving the room.
The slave got the idea to slide down the stairs, but he resisted the urge. Instead, he ran down the steps, looking for Ariel. He couldn't find him until he realized that a crowd of humans was standing beside him. How did they get there? He peered at his owner and blinked. He had a look in his eyes that Elliot remembered. Must have been that angel from the grocery store. Without a word, he moved to the angel's side and gazed up at him. -
(Shh)
The angel hung up the phone, blinking a few times. He explained to his slaves it was just another angel checking up on him, and that he had many errands to run, so he wanted them to get started on their chores. "Ah, yes, the cat. Her name is Lucy. We have another, too, named Casper. Casper was the one you saw earlier. Want to see him?" Casper was quite heavy, and quite lazy. Lucy and he kept their distance from one another. Lucy was sweet, but she could be quite anxious and had a lot of energy. He didn't pick a favorite.
Ariel was slightly irritated he was wasting time on the cat instead of getting to work, but he said nothing. Why did Uriel need money anyways? It's not like they had a use for human money. It was slips of paper. Anyone could steal it off a civilian- which is what Ariel often did. He thought Uriel just liked to torture him for the hell of it. Regardless, he grew more and more agitated at the fact most angels acted human while they were not. They had no use for money or a government, it didn't apply to them! But yet, those both existed. -
(NO
TELL ME!!)
Elliot knew that the story ran deeper than what the angel said, but he decided he'd be better keeping it to himself. He perked up at the mention of the cat- or, cats. "You have two cats? Mm.. Yes, I'd like to see Casper. He was the first of the two I saw, anyway." The human stayed close to Ariel like a burr stuck to an animal's coat. He couldn't wait to meet the cat. "He won't bite or scratch, will he?"
The human rubbed his hand, imagining a cat biting him. It didn't sound like a pleasant feeling to him. But, he doubted that the angel's cats would be so rude. He'd have to find out himself. "Oh, Ariel, what will I be doing today? I want to go work right after I meet Casper!" -
(Sh let my plans be my plans ouo)
Ariel shook his head. "No, I can assure you that he won't bite. He's a very mellow, easygoing creature. He's probably still asleep yet, he likes sleeping by the water heater in the basement." He walked to the door that led to the lowest floor. It was the warmest place in the building; it was where the heater and most of that equipment was put. Part of the basement was furnished, just as if it was another living room; that was also where the water heater was. However, behind a bookshelf lay some dark secrets that he wasn't ready to admit.
There was plenty of aggressive, discipline equipment. Nothing like he'd been torrured with though, just toys he used when slaves were out of line. He liked the unfurnished part for this reason; he always liked the sound of a mortal's scream for mercy. There were plenty of whips, blades and even some live animals that he liked to use for his amusement. It was rare his slaves were disciplined; but it was never fun when he did so. He liked to call it the punishment part of operant conditioning, and knew if should only be used in moderation. Positive reinforcement was the best, after all. -
(Uu no I like spoilers)
Elliot hid his slight excitement at the mention of the basement. His owner had told him there was no need to go down there. Usually that meant that there were secrets. The human was very curious and wanted to learn all that he could about the house. More importantly, he wanted to learn all about Ariel. All that Ariel had done was full of a mysterious aura. The expression at the mention of the angel at the store. The scars. His past was an unfinished 1,000 piece puzzle that the human wanted to solve.
As they entered the basement, the excitement melted away. It was, as Ariel had said earlier, nothing more than a basement. Elliot scanned the room, finding nothing that looked suspicious. He noted that there was a bookshelf, a chair, and other furniture that looked normal. He saw nothing out of sort. Well, there was the cat- Casper. The human walked over to the kitty, the excitement coming back. He forgot about the room and focused on the furry animal in front of him. "Kitty!" the purple haired boy cooed. -
(I hate them)
Ariel smiled a little, glancing to the cat, which has purred at the sight of new accompaniment. The cat was one that needed much attention, and adored the slaves. He rolled onto his back, grunting quietly. The cat was a pretty long haired calico. He had brown and black spots all over his body, and a black spot over his right eye. His eyes were a grassy green color, and always harbored an unamused, lazy expression. Ariel enjoyed the company of the animal, indeed. He was sweet and innocent, and very good for destressing.
After all, angels got easily stressed in human bodies. The bodies were quite different from their angelic forms, and many angels struggled with how to work them. Ariel could feel every electric pulse going through his body, every cell multiplying and dying. Ariel could feel every small twitch that pulsed through his mind, he was aware of his subconscious and the mind proceessings that no human had ever broken through. This was known as hypersensitivity, and was quite common among the Angels. It was one of the many "side effects" Ariel experienced, as well as many others of his species. -
(naah other way around, they hate you
What is Uriel gonna do)
Elliot ran over to the cat, a joyful look in his eyes. He bent down, starting to pet the beautiful feline. Casper had a very pretty fur coat. The cat on Elliot's shirt was black with white spots, but he liked Casper's brown spots better. As he stroked the cat, he hummed. Casper's fur was the softest thing Elliot had ever touched. His gray eyes scanned the cat's head, looking for the perfect place to scratch. The human forgot, for just a moment, everything. It was as if he was having a peaceful day with a family and a pet. But that little world quickly fell when he saw Ariel move in the corner of his eye.
The purple haired boy looked over at the angel. He looked happy, too, that the cat was there. But there was work to be done. Puffing, Elliot pulled away from the cat and pushed himself up. He had cat fur all over his dark pants now, and as he tried to brush the loose fur on his hands on his shirt, he could see the black fur sticking to him. Giggling, the human looked at his owner. Ariel didn't even seem to notice. "Shall we leave, Ariel?" -
(Prolly cut off a few of Ariel's fingers and maaaybbee slice Elliot up a bit :p)
Ariel nodded. "There's a good amount for you to do today, so I want you to get going pretty quick." The angel told him. He was growing quite anxious, even though Uriel was no immediate threat- not yet. He hoped the angel would take mercy on him. He hoped the angel would give him a pass just this one time. But this is what he hoped every time and it never quite worked out that way. He glanced down at his hands, which had jarring pink scars on the joint where his fingers had been ruthlessly cut off. They might have regenerated, but nothing could save the angel from the pain of that memory.
Ariel sighed quietly, grabbing the slave and pulling him close, holding him in one arm next to his side. "Yes," An underlying tone of aggression became apparent, "Let's go." -
(Elliot is going to get so protective man
"Get off of my owner!")
"What kind of work?" the human questioned, tilting his head. "Will I be the only one doing it? Uuu.. I hope I can do a good job!" His gray eyes widened in slight surprise when he was grabbed. He looked up at Ariel's bright, red eyes, his heart seeming to stop as he was pulled along. For some reason, he felt weird when the older held him so close. It wasn't a friendly gesture, but it still sparked something in the pit of his stomach.
Elliot reluctantly allowed himself to be led up the stairs. He thought back to the scene that had occurred earlier. Would he be a part of it? He thought of the angel at the store. He hadn't seemed to be scary. The purple haired boy doubted that they'd be in trouble. -
(Awwh)
"You'll be doing whatever I find most amusing. I do have a list of chores you can do. The first one is cleaning the pipes under the sink, cleaning the toilets and bathrooms. It's not too hard. I'll supervise you and have the chief maid teach you how to do the cleaning." Ariel brought the boy back to the main floor, holding his hand tightly in his own.
"I'll suppose you'll need to use the bathroom soon anyways." Ariel said, shrugging. He walked down the hall in the main floor and went past about six doors before turning left. It opened into a large bathroom that could almost be described as a bathhouse. The bathtub was almost a pool, and the sink was almost a fountain. "You'll be cleaning in here." -
(I'm sorry about the super late response. I've been wanting to soap with you all day, and then here I am not responding!)
Elliot blinked, wondering what the angel meant when he said the jobs the human would have to do would be "amusing." He thought that cleaning would be easy. The washrooms back in the auction house were always small, and he would clean them all the time with his friends. "Oh, that sounds eas...." To his horror, he was lead into a gigantic bathroom. There was nothing small about it. The tub was the size of a small pool, the sink was huge, and everything was just too big.
The human stared at the bathroom, terrified at the job. The room would at least take an hour, if not longer. He wasn't even sure if his normal cleaning procedures would work in such a large room. The gray eyed boy turned, about to mewl in protest, but he stopped himself. Whatever his master wanted, he would do with no complaints. That is what he was meant to do. He scanned the room, gulping. "O-Oh, gee.." -
(It's fiiiine)
Ariel smiled at the slave's shocked reaction. There was nothing that could have prepared him for a bathroom this large, Ariel was well aware of that. And that is what made this particular job amusing to watch. It was quite enjoyable for the slave to practically sink into their own skin at the size of the bathroom, and Elliot was doing just that. The desired response. Perfect. His lips spread into a grin. "Like I said, the maid will help you, and I will just be standing at the edge of the bathroom." Ariel said this before he called the chief maid over and walked to the farthest right corner of the bathroom. This way, he would be able to overlook everything.
Not that there wasn't one way or another to do so without actually being present. There was, there were many methods in existence. Some were using devices, others his own powers. Ariel always preferred physical presence, it was always effective and usually added stress to the slaves. He could also tell them to work faster or inform them of missing a spot. It was a little immature, but what could you expect? -
The human felt as if he'd never get the job done. He assumed that this would be something that would amuse the angel. He looked over, and his gray eyes caught the smirk in Ariel's eyes. He wanted him to be flustered. Puffing out his cheeks, Elliot tried to act as if he wasn't worried about the size of the bathroom. Maybe, if he acted like it wasn't big, he'd be able to make himself believe the job was easy. The purple haired boy had enjoyed cleaning before. It helped ease his mind. The slave tried to think positive. Larger bathrooms equal more time to clean. More time means more time to think. He tried to use that mindset.
However, his determination was quickly demolished. Even with the maid working with him, about ten minutes into cleaning, Elliot had given up. The process itself wasn't hard. They didn't need a lot of supplies, and the washing tools were bigger than what he had been expecting. That didn't really help much. The human was so careful to clean every little spot. He had barley made any progress compared to the rather expert maid, who was speeding through. Discouraged, the human worked even slower, hoping that Ariel wouldn't notice. -
Ariel watched the maid and his slave work on the bathroom. The experienced maid to no doubt was working almost twice the speed of the slave. This made the angel somewhat cross- he could tell he was losing willpower quickly. That simply wouldn't do. Ariel was aware of the colossal size of the bathroom, but he felt Elliot should be putting more work into his home. He checked the time on his watch. It was around noon, meaning many of his slaves would be wanting to eat soon. He stepped out for a moment, alerting the kitchen staff of the time and informing them what to make for the slaves. They nodded, getting to work quickly. Soon he was standing in the door of the bathroom, not the corner.
"Elliot, may I speak to you outside?~" Ariel had a firm tone imputed into his voice, although he was the furthest thing from angry. A little amused and a little shocked, maybe. But he knew Elliot would adapt rather quickly.
