shes my heart and my soul
Jasper licked his lips and let out a defeated sigh, taking off his beanie and running his fingers through his hair slowly. He didn't know what to say so he stayed silent for a bit, laying his head on the back of the couch and looking up at the ceiling, neck completely exposed. He closed his eyes, soaking it all in. It was all just so much, too much almost. -
as she should beeee
Kyland usually had fairly good speech abilities but now, he was at a loss for any words. He pulled in a long, drawn out breath, his head spinning due to everything that was taking place. He had only been trying to help and the fact that the chain of events had been so drastically changed exhausted him. He now had to worry about someone being told about who he was. He was not a harsh person, so he wouldn't get on Jaspar about it unless he was going to tell. -
you like me best when i'm off my rocker
Jasper took another shaky breath before opening his mouth to speak again. His words came out slow and shaky. "What if..What if you made me a vampire? Then..Then you wouldn't have to worry about me telling..Because then my own life would be on the line.." He kept his eyes closed, chewing the inside of his mouth. "Not that I have to be involved for me to not tell..Just figured it would make it easier.." The boy was practically shaking by now. -
wait are we doing this now or when they fall in love
Kyland threw a glance in Jaspar's direction, his eyes in distress. "I don't know if that's an option. I have never ever turned anybody and I don't plan to. I just have to be careful, is all. Well..you have to be careful, anyway. How understanding is your mother? She seems like an endearing worry wart. I'm just really scared about this whole thing." -
shrug
your choice cuz ur the ringleader
Jasper gave a small shrug, opening his eyes and sitting up a bit. "She's..indifferent. She's laid back but she also worries a lot. She seems to let me do what I want but always has her opinion on things.." He rubbed his eyes, not wanting to start crying. This whole situation was just making him upset in general. -
the second one makes more sense i think
A light bulb blinked in his brain, and he goofily grinned. "Maybe you could hang around for a little while and get used to the idea. Tell your mom you're with a buddy of yours, maybe? Then you would be less inclined to say anythibg, maybe?" In reality, he desired for the male to stay. He wasn't exactly ready for him to go and thought that by having him stick around, he could convince him not to say anything. -
si amigo
Jasper raised an eyebrow, thinking it over. It did make sense for him to stay for a little bit longer and try to process all of this. Everything was happening so quickly and maybe staying for a little while would help slow things down a bit so he could process it completely. He gave a slow nod. "I..I can do that. My phone is in the car in my bag..I can call her.." He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth a few times. He just hoped his mom didn't press because then he'd probably spill everything. -
yayayayay
Kyland fished his keys from his pocket and unlocked the doors with the corresponding button on the clicker. He was incredibly thankful that the boy had been so fine with staying. A sense of relief washed over him. "I unlocked the car doors. You can go grab your stuff." His face seemed a whole lot brighter and he laughed gently. "If you can, can you grab a pair of sneakers from the trunk if I pop it? They are camo, blue Nikes." -
baaaaa
Jasper nodded, getting up and slipping his shoes back on. He gave the older a small smile and hurried out the door and down the stairs to grab his stuff. He finally found the car after a minute and opened the passenger door, grabbing his bag and taking his phone out. He decided to go ahead and call her while he was away from Kyland so he wouldn't slip up. Hitting speed dial, the phone rang a few times before she picked up. "Hey, mom." He listened to his mother talk for a bit as he closed the passenger and slung his bag over his shoulder and headed to the trunk. "Yeah, I'm just gonna stay with an erm, friend for a bit, if that's okay. Really? Thanks, mom. Love you too." He hung up and tossed his phone into his bag and grabbed the sneakers from the trunk, closing it after he got them. He took a deep breath before carrying the stuff back up the stairs, heading to the third floor. -
aaaaab
Kyland had gotten up and made his way into his bedroom. Now that he could avoid driving for the rest of the night, he had the freedom of wearing his pajamas. He stripped down to his boxers, rummaging through his mahoghany dresser in search of a specific set of warm, plaid flannels. He itched his head in a perplexed fashion when they weren't in their usual spot. He went to his closet, beginning to search through the clothes on the hangers. Kyland only owned a few pairs of true pajamas that he would sleep in on some occasions. Because it was supposed to be particularly cold, he chose to seek out his flannels. -
Jasper had taken his time going up the staircase, his blue jean bag slung over one shoulder and the pair of sneakers in his hands. When he finally got back to where Kyland lived, he let himself in and went to the living room, setting his bag down on the floor. The other male wasn't in there so the younger got curious, checking the kitchen. He wasn't there either. Jasper looked around and found where a bedroom must be. He slowly walked in, sneakers in hand, and his breath hitched at what he say. Kyland seemed to be searching his closet, probably for something to wear, since he was in just boxers. The man's back was to him so Jasper said nothing as he set down the sneakers at the door and leaned against the doorframe.
-
"What the f---?" he muttered to himself, utterly confused as to why he pajamas weren't in their usual spot. He scanned the rest of the closet, making a "tsk" noise with his tongue. He reluctantly pulled a set of blue, fleece pajamas from the others. He felt the fabric to make sure that they were still in their original state, the only way he would possibly wear them. They felt as soft as they were when he bought them from an old, African American woman's boutique. It had been a day of shopping and browsing the many stores and the lady in that particular shop was very down to earth and close to her roots. She had spoken many stories about her culture and how she had resided in a tribe for most of her life. That was a memory that Kyland held dear to himself as it showed the true beauty in human life. He clothed himself in the pajamas, not buttoning his shirt just yet. He turned, not expecting Jaspar to be standing there. He yelled in surprise, jumping. "Sorry. I didn't expect you to be there."
-
Jasper jumped a bit to when the older turned around, not expecting him to freak out a little like that. He gave a nervous laugh, running through his fingers his hair since he had left the beanie sitting on the couch. "Sorry, didn't mean to spy.." Jasper said with a small smile, even though he had definitely meant to spy. He pointed at the sneakers that were sat beside his feet. "I got the sneakers. Might want to lock your car back, thought. Don't really need a robbery on our hands, now do we?" Jasper was growing a bit more confident in himself by the minute, crossing his arms against his chest as he looked the older up and down, gazing at the tattoos he had ran his fingers across earlier.
-
Kyland buttoned up the rest of his shirt, not wishing to make the other uncomfortable in any sort of respect. "Thank you. And I will lock it up in a second. No, no robbery." He adjusted the collar to his shirt, yawning in a drawn-out fashion. "Do you need anything, like clothes and whatnot?" Having a house guest was exhilarating and to give him everything that he needed was a large part of being a good host. Letting his arms rest at his sides, he patiently awaited a response, ready to tend to anything that the boy could dream up. That was a wonderful trait about the 21 year-old. He always gave it his all in terms of satisfying others in any way that he could. Even though he was tired and wished greatly to relax, he still had to make sure that Jaspar felt the same way.

I'm being slow with responses cause in a lowes foods parking lot with bad inter webs
Jasper was kinda disappointed when the older male buttoned up his shirt and it showed on his face. He nodded at the question, uncrossing his arms from his chest and shoving them into his front pockets. "Something a bit more comfortable to wear would be nice. Your clothing might be a bit big on me tho, seeing as your way taller." Jasper said with a giggle, covering his mouth to hide the noise.
