Thread Topic: Start Of A Revolution
-
It is the year 2050 and the U.S had just gotten out of another Stock Market Crash, and it seems like the whole world is still in chaos. In the midst of this chaos, there are a group of teens that want to start a Revolution. They don't want the world to be like it was before the Stock Market crashed, where everyone hated you if you were different. This group of teens want to celebrate their differences and show people that the world can be fixed again. There is only one problem. If ANYONE decides to speak out, they will be executed by the government, so for now this group of teens is keeping everything under wraps.

On her right wrist she wears a digital watch and on her left wrist she wears a bracelet that says 'Freedom Fighter'. Serenity also wears black combat boots.
Talent: She is a leader. She was brought up by a General of the U.S Army, and that is were she gets her leadership from.
Bio: Serenity was born, but soon after her mother died, so she never knew her mother. She grew up in a home were her father thought she wasn't good enough. Her dad would always push her past the breaking point, until (at times) she would give up. Finally, Serenity got enough gumption to tell her dad off. This ended up with her have a bruise on her face and a scar that you can barely see. Half of the reason why she formed the resistance, is so she can prove that she is a better leader than her dad.
Other: She can be a bit sassy -
Name: Finn O'Connolly.
Nickname: Blues.
Age: 18
Weapons: Double-barreled shotgun. Handheld riot shield.
Looks: Finn keeps her face firmly hidden away behind a large green bikers helmet; the tinted visor giving only the smallest glimpses of her features. Her red hair occasionally pokes out the bottom. She has a fighter's build. Her arms and chest are strong and thick and almost always seem to carry some sort of bruise.
Appearance: On top of her helmet, Finn has spray painted her shield a dark red and decorated it with graffiti. She wears a skin tight grey cloth suit, that runs all the way down to her thick military boots.
Talent: A history of gang warfare and narrow escapes has made Finn profienct at getting into places where she doesn't belong. Getting out though, usually involves large amounts of ballistics and body bags.
Bio: When the stock market collapsed, a lot of people got left behind. Resources became scarce, families were split apart. The riots of 2045 were for many a gigantic wake up call to the public, showing them just what the collapsing stock market was doing to their day to day lives. For many, this was a dark day, of death, loss, order and chaos, and pent up frustrations. For Finn, it was a day of life, and escape.
Finn doesn't talk about her family. They were abusive revolutionaries, too obsessed with fighting to target those who deserved fighting. They expected the same of Finn. She disagreed.
She rolled with the Mordino family for a while, but grew a little too dependent on the drugs they pumped out and went cold turkey when she left. The Bishop's were no better, and the Wright's didn't suit her tastes as well. Eventually, she disappeared for good, only appearing to help those in need and vanishing just as fast.
No one knows what inspired her to actually join another gang again.
Other: She's Irish. -
(Sounds good, now we just need one more. Thanks for joining~!)

b----ES) -
Name: Tim boganda
Nickname: Timbo, Treefrog.
Age: 16
Weapons: Timbo carries two Night Sticks on him that are hand-made and modified to shoot pistol rounds out the long ends, but can only hold 3 shots each. Its a long process to reload them, so his only main option is to use this function sparingly. He spray painted them a light neon-esq green and highlighter orange, as well as a bit of blue here and there.
Looks: Timbo wears a neon green skin tight jumpsuit with his head exposed. On top of that suit he wears a orange spray painted combat vest, neon green combat boots with orange on the rubber parts(which is sprayed with a very sticky material), blue knee and elbow pads, and neon green combat gloves with orange on the lower section, where the where and around the palms would be located (which is also sprayed with mentioned sticky material). Besides that, he wears a orange mesh mouth mask that covers his mouth and nose, as well as dark orange ski goggles with dark lenses to cover his eyes.
Appearance: Under the suit, Timbo is 5 feet and 7 inches tall with a pretty lean yet muscular build. Hes white and has freckles on his cheeks. He has black hair, which is shagged around much like Mike Diva. Other than that, his eyes are a dark green and his teeth are pretty clean.
Talent: Treefrog has multiple talents, one being his ability to create things. He invinted a sticky material that can be sprayed on surfaces to make them stick and unstick based on the mood of the person that has injected a bit of their dna into the spray, in this case timbo. On top of that, he invented the modified nightsticks himself. It took hom quite a while, but he managed. Another talent of his is his physical abilities. Hes not as good a fightee as the other people on the rebellion team, but he can jump pretty high. He was the first kid in the world able to jump over a bar in a pole vault contest without using a pole. That being said, its pretty obvious his legs are the strongest part of his body. Some say its a natural giff, others say it was an enchancment he was born with. Thus, thanks to this, he can kick hard, run fast, and jump higher than the average human.
Bio: Timbo always loved comic books as a kid. He loved watching his favorite superheroes take down bad guys. Batman, superman, the X-men, he loved them all. And be never grew out of this phase in his life. He adored superheroes from kindergarten to middle school, until one day he decided that he wouldn't just watch superhero stuff, he would BE the super hero. Ever since then, he trained his body as hard as he could while also training his mind. He eventually had a whole costume set up. And by the time he did, he signed up for the rebellion. He too believed the world needed to reform, and that this could be his first act as a superhero. When applying for the team, he decided to call himself Treefrog for his color scheme and his insane jumping ability.
Other: He likes cheeseburgers, yo. With lots of pickles. This is vital info. -

(Wow, I'm starting? Okay.)
The sound of combustion savaged the night air as Blues kicked the throttle down on her bike. She could almost hear the collective gasp of the neighborhood. She could almost imagine rows and rows of windows opening above the street line. Frightened face after frightened face poking out into the glow of the street lamps. Imagined the chorus of timid voices shouting down at her.
Don't turn your back on the city.
Finn ignored them. She felt at times that she was the only one who hadn't turned away from the city. But that was okay. She knew now. She knew better now.
There was no traffic by the time she stopped. Store fronts had long since changed into warehouses, warehouses had changed into factories, factories into slums. She was where she needed to be now.
Dismounting, Finn lowered the kickstand. This dilapidated house was exactly her kind of place. Empty and forgotten by all except those who preyed under its roof.
She loved having meetings in places like this. It reminded her of her roots. Taking a deep breath, Finn grabbed her shield and entered the house. -
Treefrog huffed and puffed as he ran across large rooftops, jumping over the gaps between each building with ease. "Hup!" He would say before each jump, landing firmly on his feet and running in little to no time flat. This was Treefrogs favorite form of transportation, the whole building-run thing. It made him feel like a superhero that he saw in the movies and comic books, leaping across rooftops at the dead of night, a vigilante who does whats right, even if it may be against the law... In other words, cold hard justice.
Eventually Treefrog stopped atop of the building specified that the rebellion would meet in. He stretched, looked over the edge to see if anyone else was here, and saw a motercycle of sorte. "Neato!" He said, examining it. But he quickly shook his head and told himself to not get distracted. Without hesitation, he activated the stick function on his shoes, allowing him to run down the wall of the building instead of jumping down. Just because he has strong legs doesnt mean he cant get broken bones due to falling from a high distance.
Once he reached the bottom, he looked at the whole of the building itself. "Huh. Its rugged and old, but i guess it makes sense." Treefrog shrugged and headed on in, following some footsteps he heard in the distance. -
Serenity was always a person for time. If she wasn't on time then things didn't get done. It just so happened, that she was running late and she had to get to the meeting place, fast. She started to jog at a semi-fast past. "Left, right, left, your left, right, your left." Serenity said, taking a deep breath of air between the pauses. She decided to stop singing the old cadence her father taught her and listened to the sounds of the now chaotic world.
Finally, Serenity made it to the old crumpled building. It looked like it was on the verge of collapse, but it was still standing. That was also why it was a good meeting spot. No one would suspect that anyone would be there. She walked up the the front door and stepped inside. She saw that the two others were here already. "Dammit.' she said under her breath. She was late, and she didn't like it. "Now, you know the reason why were here." her voice, echoed off of the walls. It wouldn't reach the outside. She had made sure of that before she chose this place. -
Blues flipped her visor down as someone else entered the room, throwing her shield between the two of them before realizing who it was. "s---, Treefrog, ya can't just go and sneak up on me like that. You know I get on edge easily." She said, before smiling. You couldn't see it under the helmet, but it was the thought that counts. "How have you been? Still playing the hero?"
Turning as Serenity entered, Finn took a seat. She liked Serenity, to a given point. She lost some points because of her military background, and because she was in charge, but everything else ticked the right boxes for her. Finn dug the sword. Maybe she should invest in a sword, that sounded cool enough.
"This is about the radio tower, right? The propaganda one? We gonna blow it up? I like the sound of that, I could get behind that. Not like anyone else'll do it. Is that what's going on?" -
Treefrog laughed calmly when Finn reacted to his unexpected approach. "Tense as always, huh?" He muttered, smiling awkwardly. Finn had always kind of scared Timbo, in an intimidation sense. He knew he wasn't in any actual harm while near her, but she just had that sort of 'make one wrong move and your f---ed' feel to her. Not like it mattered though. A hero must work with their team mates, no matter who they are.
Treefrog nodded to Finns question about being the hero before backflipping into a chair as Serinity entered the building. "Heeeey Serenity!" He said, waving. "Whats the meeting about? If we are staying long, i could run somewhere and grab munchies for the team. Should I do that?" He asked, craving food. He had forgotten to eat before he left, and his stomach was starting to tell him how much he f---ed up when making that stupid move. -
Serenity smiled at the greetings that the other two had given her. "That would be a good idea, Treefrog." she said, a bit to curtly. "But be back soon, I need you to be here for the meeting. You are a main key in this operation." Serenity sighed and then looked back at Finn. "Ah, the radio tower. That does seem like a good idea." she said, thinking about the plan, that was unfolding in her head. If Finn hadn't mentioned it, then this idea would've never gotten pieced together.
Serenity then thought about Treefrog, and had another idea, but that would have to wait till he came back. Serenity paced back and forth, her combat boots making a soft thudding noise against the near rotted wood. Then, something happened. Serenity had a flashback. It was the day, when she first had the idea about the rebellion. Before chaos took reign.
The houses looked nice and clean. The streets were paved, and no longer cracked, like they were now. Serenity stood in front of her father. She was dressed in the normal ACU, but it was blazing hot and trickles of sweat fell down her face. "Daddy, I-" she started, before she was cut off. She watched her father go into a rage of anger. "DO NOT TALK DURING THE INSPECTION YOU LITTLE MAGGOT!!" he yelled, spit flying from his mouth and landing on her face. Serenity knew better that to wipe the spit away from her face, but she had had enough. She moved her right hand ever so slightly, and wiped of the spit that covered her face. She felt her fathers hand go across her check and she flew into a rage of fury. "Don't you do that to me again!" she said, her tone sounding angry and full of violence. Her father was taken aback, but not enough. He took a step forward, but didn't get that far. Serenity pulled back a fist and punched him in the nose. She couldn't get a upper-cut, or that would've killed him. "I'll be better than you. You'll see." she spat, as she turned around and walked away from her father.
Serenity's eyes flashed open, then she realized she was shaking. It was only a flashback. No harm came from a flashback. She pulled up a chair and sat in front of Finn and put on a tough face. This was something that she had to work through. -
Placing her feet up on the table, Blues shrugged. "Nah, I ate before I got here. Can't stand all the processed crap, you may as well stick a tube down me throat and force feed me grease. No offense." Finn said. "If you guys wanna go though, I've got time. Racket's needed an oil change for the last three days now. I'd upgrade her but honestly? Can't go wrong with the classics. She's basically an engine onna frame, doesn't need much to keep her rolling."
Looking over at Treefrog, Finn hated to admit that she like him as well. Sure, he let his stomach think for his head sometimes, but he had a good heart. More importantly, he was willing to take a stand. Anyone willing to do that was a friend of hers. He had a great brain as well, if Serene wasn't lying to her. Maybe she should take some time to get to know him better.
Serenity started pacing, so Finn leaned back in her seat. Maybe she should repaint her shield as well. It needed a fancy slogan, that's what it needed. Something for the people to remember, something that stuck in the mind. Something that people could chant.
Looking down, Finn noticed that Serene was looking at her. She put her feet down quickly. "Something wrong, boss? You feeling alright? I noticed you were late, something happen at home today? I had some s--- go down at the orphanage yesterday, I'd understand." -
