Treefrog nodded and smiled under his mask, jumping out of his seat and heading out the door. Phew! good thing serenity let me go get snacks! I might have digested my own arm if she hadn't! haha!
Treefrog eventually stopped by a gas station, the bright street lights shining onto his costume. "good thing its night, or else this place might have some customers. Ha!" He walked inside the station of gas, pushing the doors open with ease and ignoring the confused stare of the store clerk. "what to get, what to get...." Treefrog browsed the shelves and shrugged. "Chips should work!" he said happily, beginning to grab everything that caught his eye. -
Serenity smiled and looked at Finn. "I'm fine, and j-just call me Serenity." she said, her voice faltering. She hadn't felt more weak and vulnerable, then she did now. Serenity smiled and looked at Finn, then started to hum an old Army Cadence that was long lost. It was one that she had kept inside her memory. The cadence she hummed, was a cadence that meant war was on the rise. She was proud of the group that pulled together to push against the government. Finn and Treefrog were two of the most bravest people she had ever had the pleasure to meet, and she was glad she had met them. Without them, the rebellion would be nothing.

"You got it, Serenity. There ever a problem, just give me a call, I'll be right over. I'm pretty good at punching down problems." She leaned back again, drifting into the recesses of her mind. Maybe 'take back the day?' Nah, that didn't fit. The government preferred to operate at night when no one was awake. 'Take back the night,' then? Nah, that didn't fit either. They didn't want just the night back, they wanted everything. Blues had fought long enough to know that if the fight went all night, you'd either already lost or were toying with someone, neither of which were her style. Something different then.
Cravings hit her hard and fast, like a hole in her chest that sparked into her limbs. Reaching into her pocket, Finn took out a small bobby pin and bit it, holding it between her teeth. Looking up, she smiled back at Serenity.
"That's a nice tune. Kinda reminds me of 'March of Cambreadth.' Thatta military thing? You know, I know a nice bar not far from the tower, we could stop in after we take it down. The guy puts actual cobra venom in his shots, feels like getting your throat dissolved."
