Ancient saw a mouse and crouched, licking his lips. If he managed to catch the mouse I would be his first meal in a long time

Ancient darted forward but the mouse heard him and ran away

Moonshine stepped out of the nursery, and went over to the freshkill pile, her pads aching.

She grabbed a mouse from the pile, then went to her den to soothe her pads with coltsfoot.

Stormleaf glanced around camp, making sure everything was okay. "I guess no one will mind if I go for a walk," she murmured, padding out of camp.

Ancient sighed and he looked down. His stomach growled and he started walking again

Moonshine sighed with relief as the coltsfoot started to work, and made sure it was securely in place before moving her paws.

She slowly got up, and decided to go search for some heather nectar. She picked up a few ivy leaves, and left her den.
