Blossomflower licked her paw.

Moonshine found some, and started putting some of the nectar into the leaves.

"I'm hungry," Blossomflower said as she got up and put some warm moss on Skykit. She flinched at her back wound, which had stopped bleeding.

When Moonshine felt that she had enough, she grinned and went back to the camp.

Blossomflower ate a rabbit. Then another.

Skykit laid down asleep under the moss.

Blossomflower walked back to her den, coughing. She curled around her kit.

She padded into camp, and noticed Blossomflower raiding the fresh-kill pile. "What are you doing?" Moonshine asked, narrowing her eyes.

Skykit woke up to her mother talking to Moonshine. "What's going on?" She asked
