Joseph said "You just wait, something will happen. Joseph put his head in his hand and sighed as some people started to enter.

"Nothings going to happen to you." Merlin said quietly, she looked at the people starting to enter.

Joseph rolled his eyes, and one of the people said "We hate to disturb you, my prince. But it seems that we need better defenses around the town. Some magic users seem to be breaking in."

Merlin frowned slightly at the words but didn't say anything.

Joseph said "Don't worry. We are aware of this and we are trying our best to solve the problem."

Merlin whipped her expression clean and closed her eyes. She felt a shiver up her spine and held back a sigh.

After several hours, most of what Joseph had to do was done. He stood up and started to walk. Just then the chandelier crashed right in front of him.

Merlin followed after him and flinched when it fell, "M-Maybe we should go for a walk... You've been sitting for too long." She said trying to distract him.

Joseph sighed and said "Why do I have a feeling something will happen on my walk?"

"Come on it cant hurt, you need a break." She said and walked past him.

Joseph decided to take her advice and go for a walk. He was still paranoid that something will happen to him.

Merlin waited for him at the door.

Joseph walked towards the door. He grabbed a jacket and walked outside.

Merlin followed after him quietly.

Joseph walked down the street, looking at all the wares people had to sell.
