Zachriel managed a small smile at the other man's words. He glanced off- His smile soft and warm, but didn't say a word. Zachriel could often be the type of person who would rather communicate using body language than words. It was seen that a glance could tell a thousand more words than a mere sentence. Zachriel believed this, and was often quite quiet. Zachriel enjoyed quiet. It was peaceful, still, without danger. That's how he found it, anyways. If it was quiet, it was safe. It was secure. You could focus. You could learn. This was how Zachriel- the beautiful angel of memory worked.
Now, of course the angel had questions. But rather than voice on them, he internalized them and washed them down with the steaming cup of caffeine in front of him. He clasped his hand around the white mug, which was without a dent, without a scratch or a blemish. It was perfect in physical and functional matter, Zachriel realized. Is that how angels were? Were the knights of God more perfect than he could ever be? Undying, unaging, without a limit to power besides their father? Quite possibly.
And naturally, Zachriel wondered why he couldn't be perfect. He had few flaws, but he could find them. It was heard that no human at all could be perfect- And Zachriel wanted to know why. He wanted to be an unstained angel, like a fresh novel. One that smelled of fresh, clean paper without one blot of ink having touched the page. Simple, and beautiful. This is how Zachriel wanted to be. And he found it a little unfair that a simple apple had ruined it all for him. (Referencing to Adam and Eve) -

Caine lost focused on the Angel. He eye's drew to the thing in the back window of the store. Something with light purple eye's, standing just outside and way behind the angel. He pretended like it wasn't there for a moment, so Zach wouldn't notice his deep down panic.
Caine drew in a shaky breath. The being was gorgeous, with light colored features. Definitely an Angel. Definitely looking for the lost Angel. Caine chuckled to himself. 'I called the lost Angel and I'll be the only one who gets him.' Caine thought darkly to himself.
Caine stood and pushed his chair in. "We should go. We should go, like right now. We've been here long enough and something tells me bad things are about to happen." He shifted and took a last drink of his black delight. "The best thing to do, would be to catch a bus and ride to the apartments or hotel." Caine nodded. -
Zachriel gulped, nodding. "Oh..okay." He managed a weak smile, gulping down a bit more of his drink. Standing, he dusted off himself. "Am I in any danger..?" He dared to ask, swallowing his pride. The boy was quite worried, indeed, as this was all very new and scary for him.
He pushed his hair back, taking one look at the waitress and signaling her over. "I can pay, if you want.." He took out his dark brown wallet, counting the amount of cash in it. Around three hundred dollars- obviously enough to pay for the drinks. He did, however, find it important, the amount of money he had on him. He could be away from home for a while- and he would certainly find the money to be a necessity. -
