Caine adjusted his duffel bag over his shoulder. He wondered through the people of the very busy streets. Most, probably going to job's. He needed to find the Angel before the Angel found him. A piece of the cord from his headphones dangled in his mouth, while his fangs chewed, with extreme boredom on them. His IPod was in his pocket, heavy metal music played, blocking out all the conversations. To many, Caine probably just looked like a awkward teen trying to get somewhere. However, An angel would be able to see the black wings and red glow of his eyes, that humans couldn't see.
Caine knew he would be able to see the Angel if he flew but that would mean giving up cover. He pushed hair out of his eye's, with his soft touched and studied his environment. Bird's everywhere. He jerked backwards when he stepped on something and it yelped. He looked down and sighed. It was only a orange cat that was hissing and growling at him. Caine had probably just stepped on it's tail. He would pick it up and make a pet out of it, but Cat's and dog's didn't really like him that much. He continued on his way.
It's fine. ^~^)) -
Zachriel had seen the oddest thing. What was it- in the distance? With huge black wings and glowing red eyes? Oh, the figure was quite a distance away from him- But was, indeed, heading straight toward him. And the people around it- heading toward it, didn't even seem to notice. Why? Zachriel had begun to panic- and, as a result, froze in his place, staring at the creature. Then- of course- the wings and the eyes were gone. A figure of his imagination? Or what? People pushed passed him- not minding to not shove him. Stumbling forward, the angel fell straight on his face, with a groan. "Why..are people so rude.." He mumbled out, his face scraping against the sidewalk.
-
Caine observed around. The Angel had to be anywhere. He tried to look for a awkward, odd looking person. Someone that wasn't supposed to be on earth. This wasn't a easy job. There was a ton of odd people. People with blue hair and people with dresses bigger then a horse. Caine shot a look at the chaos coming from behind him. A person had fallen. The person. A male. A very beautiful male. Way to beautiful. Angelic beauty. That was him! The lost Angel. "Outta my way!" Caine cursed and darted through the crowd, jerking people out of his way. He couldn't believe his eye's. Why was it so easy to find him?
-
Zachriel groaned, pushing himself up. He stood, wiping off his pants. Blood was dripping from his face, knees and hands. Zachriel groaned in pain- Wishing that this hadn't come about. His hair was now untame, and his eyes darted around, nervous. The humid air messed up his hair even more- As his red blood seeped onto his suit. Looking down on his rather dim appearance, he huffed. "Well..this sucks." He murmured.
He didn't see the other male for a good amount of time- Focusing on how his wish of a promotion was already ruined. In a whirlwind of pity- He had been quite distracted. Then he saw the other male. "Oh! Excuse me..I'm sorry. Am I in your way?" Zachriel asked, his golden eye twitching a little bit. Anxiety bubbled in his gut, confused as to why no one had helped him when he fell. He thought the people of California were nice? -
Caine stared at the male and his eye's brightened. He had made his wing's hide. "No." He shook his head and studied. He raised his hand to touch the gorgeous red blood dripping but he stopped himself. Caine cringed. He was a demon, it was natural for him to crave blood. He bit his lip and looked away. "Are you heading somewhere important?" He pointed to the male's tux. Caine took his ear buds out and turned the music off. He narrowed his eye's and watched the guy. People pushed around the two of them but Caine ignored. He slipped his hands into his pockets.
-
Zachriel gulped- Blinking for a minute at the words. 'Am I going somewhere important?' He asked himself, as if somehow marveled by the words. He looked the other male up and down for a second- He looked almost the opposite of himself. "Erm..Yeah. A business meeting downtown." Zachriel told him, slipping his hands into his own pockets, casually. His hair covered his eyes for a moment, before Zachriel was forced to take a hand out of the white pocket and rearrange the pure white hairs. Zachriel began to wonder where this stranger was going with this- And why.
-
Caine looked at the sky and sly smirked. 'What is a Angel doing working?' He thought to himself and rolled his eye's. "A meeting? That sounds awfully boring." Caine yawned, trying to show he bored he was just saying that sentence. "How long have you been on earth exactly? Do you even have any clue about what I'm talking about or is it all just blurry?" He blurted out, trying to cut to the chase. He wondered if the Angel even knew he was a Angel. Caine wondered a ton of stuff. He was curious to find out more, anxious even. His crimson red orbs glared at the male's different colored eye's. Caine would've already drained this immortal of his blood, if he didn't have to keep the Angel alive. He knew Angel blood was the sweetest blood you could every find. Caine was holding back his insanity for it. He softly chuckled to himself, calculating how fast he could kill the male.
-
Zachriel gave the other the oddest look. "I have no clue what you're talking about- I mean, are you crazy?" He asked, stepping back. Naturally, he ran straight into another person. This person yelled cuss words at Zachriel that he wouldn't even dare to repeat. Falling forward again, he found his body hurtling straight towards the other. A small squeak escaped the angel's mouth as this happened- Desperately trying to regain balance, but to no avail. He found himself falling straight into him. "Oh..Sorry!" He squeaked, cautiously taking a step back as he was much too close to the other male for comfort.
-
Caine yelped, as he himself tried to gain balance from the boy's both softy colliding. He gathered himself together. "No....No. That was my fault. I thought you might understand what I'm talking." He shifted his bag and grabbed the male's wrist. He dragged him a little roughly through the crowd, pushing people out of the way and cursing at anything that tried to push him back. He dragged the boy's next to a shop window and out of the crowd. "Listen, you have just climbed a board the crazy train. I don't have much time to explain but ignore that fact. I'm your guardian angel and I was sent to watch over you." Caine grew a fake smile. Well, some of this was true. He was actually supposed to capture the Angel and take him back home to hell.
-
Zachriel squeaked as he was pushed through people. He apologized to many of them, and tried to wriggle out of the other boy's hard grasp. He groaned a little, unable to break free. Terror struck, Zachriel soon began to feel helpless. He gave a sigh of relief as he was tugged out of the crowd, most definitely happy to be away from the rude, shoving people.
The words the male were saying were crazy. They made no sense. Guardian angel? Why he, of all people, need one of those? He was quite unimportant to the world, as it is. 'This guy most be insane!' He thought. 'How rude, claiming to be an angel to a Catholic man!' Zachriel studied the other male, whom he didn't even know the name of. Zachriel had dozens of questions, and hadn't an idea where do start. Could this guy be telling the truth, or was he merely insane? Was this a con?
"Look, whatever type of con you're running is NOT funny. And I'm not going ANYWHERE with you." Zachriel snarled, furiously and impatiently. "I don't have time for your lunatic-like acts, I have to get home and change. Then I'll have to explain to my dad- And my boss, why I wasn't at today's meeting. The most important meeting of the year, thank you very much!" And with a huff, Zachriel spun around and began to walk away, irritated by such foolish, improper acts. -
Caine growled at himself and the male. He definitely wasn't happy and he was tired of being patient. He raced after the male and grabbed his forearm. "Listen, dumb---, did you not see the being in the crowd with the wing and red eye's? Do I need to show my wings?" He asked and huffed. He tapped his foot, waiting for this to ring some kind of bell inside of the Angel's head. "I might seem like a crazy person but you just have to trust the untrustworthy sometimes." Caine didn't know what else to do. He was pretty much begging. Lucifer would kill Caine if he found out Caine didn't have the Angel with him. Caine absolutely didn't want to die. He was mad at himself and the male.
-
Zachriel huffed. "I don't know what to do with you. Would you like me to call the cops for harassment? Seriously, paws off the suit." He said with a shrug. But then he remembered- The figure. The ominous black wings and the glowing red eyes. "B-but.." Confusion struck Zachriel. Hard. "How can this be?" He asked. He furrowed his eyebrows, tilting his head. "If you're an angel- How come your wings are black? How come your eyes are red?" He questioned, nervous of being in the presence of a Godly being. Zachriel knew that angels were the soldiers of God- The defenders of Heaven and Earth. They held lots of power- And could easily extinguish him on the spot. This worried Zachriel, to say the least.
-
Caine liked the look of confusion on the male's face. "Not all Angel's look alike. You're terrible belief of us sucks ass. Angel's can look millions of different way's. Some of us are beautiful and some are not. I'm more handsome in a different point of view. Plus, I don't need white wing's and all that stuff to get me by, Mr. I judge a book by it's cover." Caine snorted. "I came, because I'm supposed to watch over you. They said something about you being powerful or something like that." He nodded. This would have been a perfect time to apologize for calling him names. But he couldn't bring himself to do it. He was already so behind on explaining. Somehow, what had happened a moment ago didn't really matter. He just needed time to talk and explain.
