Thread Topic: Huh.
-
Whatever it is, or at least was, it may be a monster to us, but it was a normal creature like any other once.
*smiles, waving a hand*
It's all right.
I can understand that. No matter how strong the border, someone would surely find a hole in it somewhere. I trust you wouldn't let me or my darling get lost anyway. But we'll be careful anyway. And yes, really. I didn't think you'd be so excited by that, haha!
I know, but he doesn't need to. Although, I don't like it when other guys try to flirt with him either. But I just take his hand or step in with a smile to show them he's mine. And you'd think they would get it by holding hands, but some people are just really dense.
I will. I'll be sure to let you know what he says about it. He'll probably think I'm crazy.. *scratches back of neck* -
That's true.. I wonder, what it used to think about. I wonder what a lot of things think about, actually.
*bites lip, dazing off for a moment*
*slowly*
I won't. And the kingdom will protect you, if I ask for it.. It'll be okay. I want you to have a fun trip, okay? Oh, I get excited about many things, trust me.
Mhm. Oh, yeah, I wouldn't expect you not to feel anything.. Man, that's gotta suck. I'd get quite mad being out in public and having to do that to get girls to go away.
Maybe you are.:P I could be an illusion of your mind.
*waves arms with a teasing grin* -
You wonder what creatures other than humans think about? Food, mating, survival. That's my guess.
*nods lightly*
*pets his head again*
I'll trust you on that. Especially with my birdie. If anyone tries to harm him, I won't be as happy and kind as I am right now. I'm sure we will with someone as sweet as you showing us around. Heh, okay, I trust you.
Yeah, it's a pain, but I know he'd never take interest in anyone else. I mean, I try my best to get him what he wants and I treat him like a prince. Jay seems very happy with me, and keeping him happy is what I do best. So as annoying as it can be, no one will separate us.
I know you're real. Don't even mess with me like that.
*laughs* -
There's got to be more than just that. I mean, what do you think they think of us? For example, cats. To us, they're pets, fluffy little balls of fur that sit there purring and let us name them. What if they already have names, though? Do they think about people they like or dislike too? It's a curious thought.
*pulls legs up to chest, looking over at him*
Don't worry. If someone tries to harm either of you, they won't get very far if they manage to even touch you. And I'm sure I can get you permission to murder them. *small smile* I'm glad you trust me. I trust you, too.
*looks away, gazing at the screen*
I want to make Pierce happy like that. I want to treat him like a king, but I'm afraid I might baby him before I can treat him like that. How hard is it to keep Jay happy?
Hehe, it was worth a shot~! -
Well, cats obviously think we live to serve them. They seem to want us to pet them and let them cuddle up with us. A cat's attitude usually tells us what they're thinking. When they're angry, they give us the cold shoulder or flick their tail. Some animals, especially pets, can be obvious.
*sits cross-legged, hands on his ankles*
As strong as I probably am, I don't think I'd be able to murder someone with magical powers, or murder at all. That's a lot of blood on one person's hands. I'd probably feel guilty and end up imprisoned or in a happy home. *grins* Then it's mutual. Good.
Hmm.. Babying and treating someone like royalty are rather close together sometimes. But the later is basically doing whatever you can to make the other happy, whereas babying would be more like watching over them. I baby Jay when he gets sick or anything. And keeping him happy is much easier now. He wasn't very mellow in high school, so it was more difficult then, but now, I know exactly what he wants. Years of dating can do that.
Not worth~ -
That's true. Aww, those cute little butts must think they're the kings and queens of the world. Gee, if only creatures like dinosaurs or the Loch Ness monster were visible now.. Perhaps we'd be able to see if they had the same behaviors. I bet they do.
*glances over at the sound of movement*
Nah, around here, you can get away with a lot of things. I guess that's the downfall of us being apart from human society.. Sure, there's a ruler, but for the most part everyone does whatever and not many get caught killing others.. However, that's only going on in the lower ranks of our society, so you'll be safe with me.
Hmm.. I should try that with Pierce, once I find out what all makes him happy. I only know so much about my precious lover. See, we might have kids, but I sure can learn a lot from you!
It could have been. -
Of course they would think that. And I highly doubt creatures that were larger than some of our buildings would act like the common house cat. Especially carnivores. We're little pieces of food to them. Herbivores we might be okay with.
*smiles at him*
Ah, well, thankfully we have you. If anyone tries to hurt my birdie... I wouldn't be able to let them get away with it. We'll just stick with when it comes to exploring outside of your home. It'll be safer that way.
Your love is much younger than ours. It will take time to understand what all he wants, but I'm sure you'll figure him out. Aw, thanks! I hope we can give you whatever knowledge we can.
But it wasn't. *teases* -
Well, what do people say the Loch Ness monster ate? I mean, it's a sea animal, but maybe it was a seaweed lover and not a little fish lover. You never know.
*shrugs, returning a softer smile*
Mmhm. You have me, and if someone from the kingdom feels the need to help, they'll be here too. I wouldn't let them get away with it either. It'll be a two versus one! Hehe, sounds like a plan.
I sure hope I do. I want to make Pierce the happiest man on Earth. Well, at least as happy as you can make Jay!
You could have beeeen. -
Seeing as it's a sea creature, and one of the largest of its time at that, Nessie would've probably been a pescatarian. She would've ate fish, squid, and other small sea creatures. I don't think there would be enough vegetation to feed an estimated forty-six foot long creature.
*grin*
That sounds nice. Everyone's cowards in the human world. They don't really do much to help there. Most people stand off to the side and watch, yet everyone is thinking the same thing, but no one will say a word.
I honestly feel like I'm the happiest man on Earth when I'm with my bird. He's wonderful. I'm sure your Pierce will be happy with whatever you do.
Could have been..what..? *confused* -
Evan: Well, maybe she could have eaten.. Rocks? Ehehe, you're right about her diet. I wouldn't be surprised if the occasional human was added to a meal if they went wandering into her territory, unless at the time humans weren't a favored meal for her kind. It's interesting to think about things like that.
It's similar around here, though. Some people, they want to help, but they're too scared to do anything. Or they're just a bit too late to help.. It depends on the person.
Thanks for the advice, Evan!
Err, I forgot. ^^' I was trying to argue with you, though, I know that much.. -
I doubt that. Imagine how hard that would be on poor Nessie's belly. Maybe, if humans were alive then. Once Jay's out of class, we can ask him. He remembers more of this stuff than I do, especially the statistics.
Well, here, everyone probably has an idea of who is strong and who is weak. In the human world, it's hard telling if someone has the strength to take you down by just looking at them. You usually have to find out through experience.
Not a problem!
Yeah, you lost me with the last thing you said.. ;u; -
Evan: True.. In fact, I can't recall any large animal attempting to eat rocks. I guess that wasn't too good of an argument. Oh, can we? When does he get out of class?
*stretches out limbs, yawning*
What a great point.. It's really no different with magical beings. Sure, there are species that look terrifying, but they can be weaker than pixies sometimes. It really does take experience to figure it out.
I'm sorry, older Evan. ;-; -
He'll be out soon. Actually, I'll send him a message and if he responses, you can come with me to meet him. But like I said, he might look at you suspiciously at first, so please bare with him.
*takes out phone, typing on the screen*
And sometimes the experience really hurts. I love it when people underestimate Jay. He's not all that strong but he's quick and he can get mean when he wants to be. Still, I wouldn't let some big meathead pick on my baby. I can be tough, too.
It's all right. I'm absent-minded, remember? *grins* -
Evan: Oh, I'll be fine. I just really want to meet your boyfriend, and see his reaction once we reveal my world to him! It'll be exciting.
*glances over his shoulder for a moment before peering at the screen*
Hah, no kidding.. Sometimes it's emotionally hurtful.. ^^' What does he do to people that underestimate him? Do you ever help him prove a point?
Pffft! What an interesting way to describe yourself.. -
Heh. I'm sure he'll be in awe when he realizes he isn't dreaming all of this. I'm sure you two will get along well. My, you're awfully nosey, aren't you?
*smiles*
Depends. He's got quite the brain, so when someone doubts his knowledge, he'll prove them wrong if possible. He hasn't had to fight much, but some people tend to think they can push him around. He's no pushover. He'll make it known when someone is pushing their luck.
But it's true. I lose track of my thoughts rather often. Heh.
