Thread Topic: Huh.
-
Evan: That's true. Some people are just later bloomers than others.
Why thank you. With muscles and power like these, comes great responsibility. I don't like it when someone gets big just to intimidate or harm others. It's better to protect those that can't protect themselves. Speaking of which, we're here~
*gradually comes to a stop, taking a deep breath*
We'll figure out what your max for everything is, then set up a plan. But for now, welcome to our home! *quietly opens door* -
Evan: *grins* I'm certainly one of them.
I'll try to do that, too, if I ever get muscles. I'll be a defender.. Huehuehue. I want to see myself like that.
*pauses to think*
*then looks up, yawning and rubbing chest*
Okay! Thank you for welcoming me. ^-^
*slips in, looking around*
*then turns to wait for him* -
Evan: You'll get there in time.
You can defend your lover when he's feeling his weakest. I'm sure he'll like that.
*nods and follows him inside*
*whistles*
Birdie, I'm ho~me!
*grins at a responding whistle* -
Evan: I hope so. But I should keep my hopes high, because most late bloomers get there.
Hehe.. I want to be his knight in shining armor, if he'll let me be that..
*falls silent, eyes wide*
*stares up at Evan like 'what do I do senpai'* -
Evan: That's why they're late bloomers, they always get there. I'm sure he'll let you when he needs you the most. You two are on more even grounds in that way. *pats his head as boyfriend emerges*
Jay: Eva~n. Welcome home... *purses lips at other Evan* Who's this? Good thing I haven't started cooking, I wouldn't have made enough. -
Evan: Mm, always.. I like the sound of that. *sighs a bit* Oh, I know he will. But I don't know how much time I'll have to do that anymore. *pauses, then looks up at him and then to Jay* *squeaks* I'm Evan!
-
Jay: ... *giggles* Evan, huh? Gee, I guess I'll have to use nicknames for my boyfriend when you're around. And what will you not have much time for? *curious*
Evan: Ah, how about we go work on something to eat while we talk? *nudges Jay towards kitchen* I'll help you cook, Birdie.
Jay: Hmm. I suppose.. Come on in, Evan. You want anything to drink? -
Evan: Ah, helping my boyfriend.. *shy look* I suppose I can explain while we're waiting for Evan to cook.. *comes in, smiling* Sure, anything will work.
-
Jay: What a sweetie, helping your other half. He ain't cooking alone. I don't let him because he specializes in certain foods. *sticks tongue out* Well, I guess just help yourself to a cup and the fridge. Get whatever you want.
Evan: ...I'm thinking rice with broccoli and cheese soup.
Jay: You'd better make something on the side. Maybe just so fruit.. *consulting with lover* -
Evan: Oh, I.. Thank you. *blushes* *stares at them both* *has a sort of sad, distant look* *but shakes it off and retrieves a cup and gets some water* Who specializes in cooking what?
-
Evan: I specialize in foods from my homeland. So a lot of oriental food, and fish. I'm pretty good with fish. I can make cookies, too. *grins*
Jay: I can make pastries and cook red meat. I'm also the better baker, or roaster if we're talking chicken or turkey.. *trails off, noting Evan's distant look* What's wrong, sweet? -
Evan: What about fish and rice? Fish and rice is really good.. *smiles* You both have good tastes. *sips the water, looking at him* I was just.. Thinking. I mean, watching you guys work together.. *leans against something* I'd love to do that with Pierce. But he's too sick to do many activities, and I'm afraid that we might not be able to with how bad it's going.
-
Jay: *hums* I see.. Maybe you can have him do some stuff at the table while you do all the walking and standing. He mix things, chop ingredients, help you get measurements. You should ask him.
Evan: *pats his head to cheer him up* I'll see what we've got. I'll have to get stuff for sushi some time. -
Evan: I.. Maybe. He'd have to wash his hands really good, though. *little laugh* I'll ask him. Thank you for the idea, Jay.. *looks up at Evan* I've never actually had sushi.
-
Jay: *laughs* You're welcome, Evan. Just because things are difficult, doesn't mean you still can't do things together.
Evan: We'll make sushi next time then. Maybe I'll even show you how to make it. *smile* I think we have everything for fried fish balls.
