Day 1
---
"Hey, Sylvia, get up. We need to get moving, asap. Todays your first day as a ranger, remember? I was sent to wake you up while Koltev went for the other girl. Lizaveta, I think her name was... I'm surprised you too don't know each other." Sylvia punched the man in his knees before she rose up, yawning. "Oh, shut up you old bag." She opened her eyes, still getting adjusted to the light. "Oh, it's you, Vladkust. Get your panties loose, i'll be up in a second." Vladkust sighed and looked around the room. "Whatever ya say, Sylv. But I recommend you clean up your room. There's cigar ashes everywhere in here." Annoyed with his constant rambling, Sylvia pushed Vladkust out of her room and closed the iron door, locking it. What an ass. I'll do with I want with my room. Should mind his own f---ing business, he should. -
"Lizaveta time to get up." Lizaveta groaned and rolled over. She covered her head with her pillow and immediately started getting shook, "Up now." She groaned and wacked them with the pillow
"Ten more minutes."
"No." Lizaveta groaned and swung her pillow again, hard. "Ow, that action hurt."
"Sorry," she sat up holding her blanket against her chest
"You're going to be late."
"I'll be quick just... I'll be there soon." Lizaveta was pulled out of the bed and she landed hard on the floor, "Owww."
"Their, now you're up." A second later the door was slammed shut, she groaned attempting to untangle herself from her blanket. -
Sylvia stretched a bit, doing her morning exercises. Afterwards, she opened her locker which contained her heavy military outfit. Quickly slipping on the pants, coat, Military vest, boots and helmet, She headed outside her room where Vladkust stood, still waiting on her whilst tapping his foot impatiently and annoyed. "Ya done yet? C'mon, haul your ass to the armory where you can pick up the weapons you requested. I better not get yelled at for your slow arse." Sylvia quickly lit up a smoke and pressed it on the back of his neck, making the man yelp in pain. "f---! I outta knock you a new one for that b---- move!" Sylvia laughed and put the cigar in her mouth. "Calm down, you old coop. Stop being a baby over such a little burn, why dont ya?" Rudely, she pushes Vladkust to the side and walks past him, heading to the armory.
-
Oh my god I'm sooo sorry I though I posted it but I guess I didn't. I haven't been feeling well so didn't think to check, sorry it took a while, its just really hard to type with one hand...)
Lizaveta untangled herself from the blanket but tripped over the blanket on the way to brush her hair. After she brushed her hair she pulled it back in a high ponytail and pulled a hat on over top. She pulled on black leggings and black long sleeve top. She opened her locker and pulled on her pants and grabbed her jacket and flung out the door, "Yeah, I got it, don't bother." She said jogging down the hall, she pulled on her coat as she reached the armory, she knocked on the door as she walked. -
It's all good, man. ^-^ Just glad you didn't quit.)
Sylvia soon turned a corner and arrived at the armory, the only other person there being the other newbie. "Hey sweet heart, you here for your s--- too?" She asked, taking the cigar out of her mouth. Sylvia looked her up and down, checking her out. She's pretty cute I guess. Surprised she'd want to be a ranger. "So what kind of gun did you get? Shotgun? Sniper? Assault rifle?" -
Lizaveta chuckled lightly, "Yeah, I'm here for my 's---' although someone calling a gun s--- shouldn't be weilding it." She had a faint smile on, "I'm a sniper." She barley pointed at her gun, "M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle," She paused and took a deep breath, "The M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle (ESR), formerly known as the XM2010 and M24 Reconfigured Sniper Weapon System, is a sniper rifle developed by PEO Soldier for the United States Army.It is derived from the M24 Sniper Weapon System and replaced the existing M24s. The M2010 system differs from the prior M24 Sniper Weapon System in that the M2010 fires .300 Winchester Magnum ammunition to provide approximately 50 percent additional effective range relative to the M24's 7.62x51mm NATO. This chambering to dimensionally larger cartridges is possible because the M24 Sniper Weapon System was designed to use the "long-action" version of the Remington 700 receiver. The U.S. Army hoped that the additional effective range helps their snipers in engagements in mountainous and desert terrain in which the War in Afghanistan was fought. The general penalties for using bigger, more powerful magnum rifle ammunition compared to smaller, non-magnum standard rifle cartridges are increases in recoil, jump, flash, weight, and barrel wear..." She laughed awkwardly, "I know, old and a nerd... Off putting right? I'm Lizaveta, you have a name?"
-
Sylvia shifted her brows in surprise. "Well aren't we a know it all? I'm Sylvia, and i'll be on the front lines while you stay back and miss all the action!" Sylvia laughs loudly, although it was more in a humorous manner rather than a teasing one. Once she finished, She noticed her guns sitting on the side of a counter. "Oh, it seems they already set mine out. Don't mind if I do~!" She reached over and grabbed her Side arm, attaching it to her hip and her Secondary to her back using a strap she found nearby. Finally, she got her shotgun in her hands and chuckled. "This is a real warriors weapon, honey. I'm sure you know what it is, right? The good old fashion shotgun, although i'm betting you know its insides and outs as well, right bookworm?" She said, cracking another unintentional teasing joke.
-
Lizaveta sighed lightly, "Bookworm? Yes. Know it all, no so much." Lizaveta studied the guns she picked up, ".44 Magnum, RPK-74 assault rifle, aaaand Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun, right? The .44 Remington Magnum, or simply .44 Magnum, and frequently .44 Mag, is a large-bore cartridge originally designed for revolvers. After its introduction, it was quickly adopted for carbines and rifles. Despite the ".44" designation, all guns chambered for the .44 Magnum round, and its parent, the .44 Special, use bullets of approximately 0.429 in (10.9 mm) diameter.
The RPK ("Kalashnikov hand-held machine gun") is a 7.6239mm light machine gun of Soviet design, developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the late 1950s, parallel with the AKM assault rifle. It was created as part of a program designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army, where it replaced the 7.6239mm RPD light machine gun. The RPK functions identically to the AK-47. It also uses the same 7.6239mm ammunition. It has a similar design layout to the AKM and AK-47 series of rifles, with modifications to increase the RPK's effective range and accuracy, enhance its sustained fire capability, and strengthen the receiver.
The Franchi SPAS-12 is a combat shotgun manufactured by Italian firearms company Franchi from 1979 to 2000. The appearance and intended purpose of the SPAS-12 initially led to its "Military" designation as a Combat Shotgun. The SPAS-12 was designed from the ground up as a rugged military shotgun and it was named the Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun. In 1990 Franchi renamed the shotgun to the Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun, this allowed continued sales to the United States as a limited-magazine-capacity, fixed-stock model until 1994. Following the United States Federal Assault Weapons Ban, imports of SPAS-12 shotguns were stopped into the United States." She looked at Sylvia and tilted her head with a smile, "Am I wrong?" -
Sylvia's eyes widened. "Um... No, actually. Your spot on. But enough of all this history s---, we'd best get moving. Command won't be happy with us if we arrive TOO late, ya know what i'm saying, bookworm?" And with that, Sylvia put her cigarette back in her mouth and walked off in the direction to the commanders office. Huh. Lizaveta the bookworm. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this girl. Oh well, maybe her smart ass will have some kind of use on the outside... Or just end up getting her killed.
