SunsetMoon NewbieLucy was even happier when they served the dinner. She nearly drooled as she saw the roast chicken, and she gaped longingly at the lamb chomps and fries. As she gave an angry glare towards the pudding, she eagerly jammed the food in her face.
A Ravenclaw fifth year eyed her quizzically. "You're acting like you've been starving!" Lucy mocked rolling her eyes, giggled, and continued eating. She scooped some potato mash onto her plate, and she saw some delicious peas.
"This is so good!" She took a bite of a carrot, and just then she realized that she wouldn't want to be anywhere else. -
Chester looked at the girl sitting across from him at the Ravenclaw table. A warm smile appeared on his face as he chirped, "Hello, Lucy, is it?" He blinked a few times, sitting back with crossed arms. "I'm Chester." Chester wasn't sure who this girl was, but he knew that in any school, friends were a must. Without friends, it made the school year that much harder. 'Might as well start the "friends" thing now, then.' He thought to himself as he looked to the girl across from him.
Audrey then looked up from her food, glancing at the Slytherins around her. She turned her head to the boy across from her, he had dirty blonde hair and dull green eyes. He looked tired as he picked lazily at his food. "Didn't sleep well, aye?" She asked, a small smile forming at the corners of her lips.
"Yeah, I was really excited. I'm muggle-born." The boy responded, "It's all a lot to take in." Audrey pursed her lips, shifting her weight to the back of the chair. "Huh. And I thought all Slytherins were pure blood. Interesting." -
Duncan ate until he could eat no more and got bored. A couple other Gryffindors where trading insults with the Slytherins so he joined in. Things got tense so Duncan started talking with others. "Isn't this exiting?" Marisa asked him. "Not as exiting as the quiditch season will be!" He grinned and saw the Slytherins going at it again. He grabbed a spoon and began flicking food at them and acting innocent went it hit their robes.

Audrey glanced over to the Gryffindors and the Slytherins arguing. Rolling her eyes, she called over to the crowd of arguing teenagers. "Can't you guys get any more mature? I mean, we all know Slytherin is better but you don't need to be so childish about it! Your insults are honestly a disgrace to yourselves!" Her blue eyes gleamed with amusement, finding the entire scene very funny. She pursed her lips, flipping her dark hair away from her face, keeping her eyes set on the teenagers insulting one another.
