Lovino swallowed, mentally preparing himself to be tormented for actually being decent at math or for not being athletic or whatever other reasons the dumbasses at school needed to shove him around. He pushed his glasses up again, constantly embarrassed about having to wear them in class. "Let's just get this over with," he mumbled, studying the worksheet and stubbornly refusing the look up at the other boy.
-
sorry if mine are too short now, I'll try and make them longer ^^)
-
Sillinae NewbieOh. Well, at least he was direct. Antonio slid into the seat next to Lovino, peering at his own copy of the worksheet. "I hope you're good at math." He chuckled nervously. "I, uh..." He shook his head helplessly, looking over to Lovino's sheet. "I'm not good with numbers." Funny. He hadn't noticed Lovino wore glasses before. Maybe it was to see the board? He patted the contact case in his pocket. It was harder to play soccer with glasses on.

Sillinae Newbieno that's ok! Do as much or as little as you think is appropriate :) I know you're a great writer so I'm not worried
-
Lovino rolled his eyes. "What, soccer ball hit you in the head one too many times or something?" he asked in a low voice, already scribbling away on his own paper. He'd just let Antonio copy off his paper, it would be much faster that way, without having to worry about explaining everything to him. Besides, this way he could use the work as an excuse to ignore him. Not that he really needed one, he didn't care about hurting Antonio's feelings. After this, they'd just go back to their different worlds.
-
ahhh thank youuu .///.)
-
Sillinae NewbieAntonio laughed, but it faded quickly when he noticed that Lovino was already scratching numbers and problems all over his sheet. He studied Lovino's neat script, trying to copy everything down in his own chicken scratch. Lovino was much quicker than him, and he stumbled over every equation he copied down, while Lovino seemed to breeze through them. Antonio was a little jealous of Lovino's ability, but he couldn't help but admire it. "You're really good at this." He commented, a bit lamely, a little nervous of the cold silence. Not that Lovino really had any reason to act friendly with him.
-
Lovino stiffened, waiting for the insult that usually followed any comment about his intelligence. "So what?" he asked, glancing up at Antonio, a defensive scowl plastered on his face. "Actually, no, I don't care. Here." He shoved his paper towards the other boy, so he could finish clumsily copying down the answers.
-
Sillinae NewbieAntonio blinked, startled. He hadn't exactly expected to be questioned. "Ah..." He looked down at the papers that had been shoved onto his desk. Glancing between his and Lovino's notes, he jotted down the answers. "Nothing. I wish I could do it." He mumbled, preoccupied with the papers. At least this partner project should get him a decent score in this class for once.
-
Lovino paused for a moment, blinking in surprise. "What?" he muttered, more to himself than Antonio. Not being insulted by one of the school's popular sports players was definitely unusual. He finally allowed himself to look up at Antonio, biting his lip as he studied him. "...I think you know my brother." he murmured after a moment, simply for the sake of not being the only couple in the room who wasn't speaking. Feliciano did mention something about some soccor player once, a friend of that irritating albino. Luckily Antonio didn't seem nearly that bad.
-
Sillinae NewbieAntonio glanced up at that, raising an eyebrow. "Do I?" He searched him memories for a name. Lovino Vargas, right? Did he know another one. "Yeah. Feliciano, right?" He was a bubbly kid, a year or two below him. "Not very well. I've met him once or twice at games. He's nice." And Feliciano had mentioned something about a brother, too. Antonio hadn't realized that Feliciano's brother was in his class. Although it wasn't 'Feliciano's brother', it was Lovino. He was somewhat surprised at how different they were, now that he was paying attention.

I might disappear, sorry if I do! ily I promise I'll be on tomorrow)
Lovino nodded. "Yeah. I'm surprised you noticed. He, uh...he's a little nicer than me." Lovino looked down at his paper and sighed quietly. Antonio was probably already thinking about how much happier and better Feliciano was. "He likes watching you play, he said." he added softly. In reality, Lovino was the one who preferred to watch the soccer games, allowing himself to be dragged to them by Feli. He'd just never realized that the cute curly haired one was in his math class. -
