oh oh the front porch forum on this site sorry I should've worded that better ^^; anyway good morning :D )
Lovino cursed, scrambling to unattach himself from Antonio's lap, accidentally slipping off the couch to the floor. He quickly jumped to his feet though, hurriedly grabbing a random textbook from his bag on the floor and sitting down next to Antonio, hoping Roma wouldn't notice that his cheeks were still aflame from the kisses.
Roma entered the house just as Lovino sat down. He sighed, pulling his coat off and hanging it up next to the one Lovino always forgot to bring to school. "Boys? I'm home!" Then he turned and paused, a little surprised to see Lovino with someone his own age, looking like a regular teenager hanging out with another regular teenager. "Who's this?" he asked, unaware of how on edge they were. "Uh, Grandpa, this is my friend Antonio, he's the one I'm tutoring." Roma smirked a little. "Is he the one Feli said you keep-" "Let's go upstairs!" Lovino exclaimed, grabbing Antonio's arm with his wrapped wrist and his bag with his good one and pulling them both towards the stairs. Roma chuckled, ruffling his hair and walking past them to get dinner started. -

Antonio yelped when Lovino pulled him away towards the stairs, his face red from a mixture of the kisses and almost being caught redheaded by Lovino's grandfather. He glanced at Lovino as he was tugged up the stairs. "I'm the one Feli said you keep... what?" He asked, his voice lilting teasingly. Of course, Lovino would probably be teasing him, too, if he knew how distracted Antonio had been all weekend. He was glad nonetheless that his grandfather had seemed so oblivious to how completely flustered they'd been when he walked in. Oh god, Feliciano was probably somewhere laughing his ass off. -

oh god back a day early omg I saw your two posts on the other thread omfg I freaked out bc I'm sorry I know this is so so pathetic but you usually say ily (don't get me wrong I melt every time you say that ilyt) but in the other thread you actually typed out I love you and ahhhhh idk I was just really happy I still am I love you so much you're not clingy at all I missed you too it's actually really reassuring to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't like not being able to talk at all ily ily I love you Sammy you're so so so perfect ahh you just make me really really happyy)
Lovino blushed, swatting his arm. "Nothing!" He kicked a closed door as they passed, 'hmph'ing in satisfaction when he heard a yelp from Feli. When they reached the last door, he pulled it open. "Here's my room, we'll probably be left alone here." He suddenly looked unsure, remembering that Antonio was only going to bring him home and then go. Maybe he didn't want to spend any more time here. "U-Unless you want to leave," he added, biting his lip. Besides that, if Feli was home it meant school was over, so Antonio's family was probably wondering where he was. -

Antonio shook his head quickly. "No. I'd like to stay." He offered a small smile. "Unless you want me to go. But no one at home will care much, so it's not a big deal." He cocked his head slightly to the side, regarding Lovino with a raised eyebrow. "Although maybe I'll have to ask someone else what your Grandpa was going to say, hm?" He teased. He wouldn't be surprised if Lovino needed him to go though, whether for school or family or other reasons. Antonio could always text his family if he stayed late, but Lovino's family seemed more strict. -

Lovino blushed and giggled, glad that he didn't want to leave yet. "It's nothing, really. I just may or may not have mentioned you a few times." he said, hoping that Antonio would believe that and not see his sketchbook, which...he'd left sitting on his bed, open to a drawing that was very clearly a teenage boy with curly hair and bright green eyes. Great. Lovino cursed under his breath, knowing that if he rushed to hide it Antonio would definitely notice. -

Antonio grinned. "Oh, good to know." He laughed. He couldn't help pulling Lovino close to him quickly, pressing a quick kiss to his forehead. He glanced around the room over Lovino's head, trying to feel a little more comfortable in the strange space. He hoped Lovino was right and no one would walk in. He was still pretty nervous about people finding out and it becoming bad at school, and even something as small and hand holding or sitting too close may as well be a red flag if the wrong person saw. He shook the thought away, and welcomed the distraction when he saw an open book on Lovino's bed. "Oh, do you draw? Can I see?" -

yes yeah it was actually fine! There was night me n my little bro just kinda hid in the room but besides that it was good! There's a lake by the house I got to swim a little ^^ I fell off the dock today though that was actually kinda scary, but I'm okay! How's Florida been? I'm so sorry this is so late btw we had to unpack everything..)
Lovino giggled again, returning the quick peck with a kiss on the taller boy's nose. He figured he could relax a little when it was just the two of them, as it would really be their only time together they wouldn't have to hide. At the mention of drawing, Lovino froze, blushing. "Oh, um, it's nothing good really, just a bunch of stupid scribbles," he replied quickly, trying to sound innocent. -

Florida had been pretty good, although I burnt myself bright red and now I look permanently like I'm blushing >< and we went to the mall which was pretty nice! It's always so hot though omg I'm from the north and I'm melting into a puddle I swear
Antonio pursed his lips. "Oh. Well, I didn't know you draw, that's really cool." He smiled, moving around Lovino to walk up to the bed were the sketchbook was lying. "I can't draw to save my life. But I'm sure you..." He trailed off when he saw exactly what was on the open page of the notebook, his eyes widening slightly. It looked like... Antonio. And the resemblance was to striking to be coincidence, really. Familiar green eyes and curly hair were staring up at him and his brows knit together. "I-Is that...?" -

Lovino cast his eyes towards the floor, cheeks burning. He wasn't sure what to say. Antonio would surely want to leave now, he probably thought it was weird or creepy or something. "...I'm sorry." he mumbled after a moment, still looking at the floor, too afraid to look up and see the confusion and disturbance in Antonio's face. "I-I know it's weird I just...I just..." he trailed off miserably, knowing he really didn't have any excuse. -

"N-no, I just..." He sat down on the bed, taking the book in his lap. He flipped a few pages cautiously, and saw a few more pages of green eyes and curly hair, and felt his face going red. But he quickly flipped back to the original page, studying the drawing tentatively. "You're... you're a good artist." He finally murmured quietly. His lips pressed into a thin line as he looked at the drawing. He was smiling in the picture, and Antonio was startled by how... nice it looked. Or how nice he looked? "Is... is that how you see me?" -

Yeah, we were swimming this morning and I slipped off the dock and fell in, which was actually really scary because it's like twelve feet deep at the shallowest point bleh and me and water have never gotten along haha
but after that we got dried off and my dad's friend barbecued so that was fun c: and I brought a little notebook so I drew a little~
We left early cuz one of my dad's friend's wives just had a baby, so he didn't wanna be gone too long, so when he left everybody else starting packing up too.)
Lovino bit his lip, tentatively glancing up. "I, uh...y-yeah." He smiled for a brief second, but it quickly flickered away. "You...You're one of the only people who's actually nice to me," he admitted. "You're always so happy and strong, and..." he sighed softly, shutting his mouth before he could start going on about his eyes or his smile. He watched him carefully, hoping he wouldn't be upset with him. "I-I'm sorry," he managed again. -

Antonio was silent for a moment. Finally he took a deep breath, still gazing at the drawing. "There's nothing to apologize for. I..." If he had had an outlet like this he wouldn't be surprised if he would have done something similar. But he had to admit that he was flattered... and reassured. He bit his cheek. "I was afraid you saw me like Gil or Francis." He said quietly. He was afraid everyone saw him like that. And the fact that Lovino, of all people, had drawn him this way, and at all, suddenly made his cheeks go hot again. "I'm happy. T-that it seems like you don't, I mean." He let out a short laugh. "I wish I could draw you. Like how I see you." -

"I don't. I couldn't. You- You're not like them at all," he responded immediately. Lovino's breathing caught in his throat for a moment and he looked at Antonio with a sort of shock. He was still trying to comprehend the fact that the Spaniard didn't seem him as the pathetic, grade-obsessed, easy target that everyone else did. "...How do you see me?" he asked in a small voice. -

Antonio looked up at the drop in Lovino's voice, considering him for a moment. "I can't draw it like you can." He said after a long moment. "I... maybe it's embarrassing, but..." Speaking the mushy sentimental thoughts out loud felt much more embarrassing than seeing a nice image. He stared at his feet, but couldn't help a small smile. "Brave. And smart, and funny and honest." He said slowly. He remembered Lovino jumping into the fight, and in school and his sharp retorts. He buried his face in his hands. From behind his fingers came a muffled addition. "Beautiful."
