ahaha yeah I don't have a lot of friends in any of my classes so it's nice just to have someone to talk to ^^; sorry I wasn't on much today, my classes were all pretty busy
Lovino, satisfied with that answer, left Feli and Lidwig to listen to Roma's drunken ramblings, slipping on his shoes and the jacket that Antonio had bought for him, which he had grown embarrassingly attatched to since. He pulled him out the back door, eyes taking a moment to adjust to the bright snow. There wasn't a lot of it, but a good few inches dusted everything with a pretty white powder, and more was falling softly. Lovino leaned against the back deck's railing, watching the snow and replaying the events of the day so far over in his head. "Ti amo, Antonio." He said after a moment, with a small nod. He knew he'd been stressed lately, and he felt a bit bad for pushing him away so much lately. -

Antonio followed Lovino outside after shoving on his shoes and throwing on his jacket, shoving his hands into his pockets and leaning against the railing next to Lovino. The silence was surprisingly comfortable, since Antonio couldn't stand quiet most of the time. But everything felt calm, everything muffled by the snow. He glanced over at Lovino when he spoke, considering him honestly. "Te quiero, tambien, Lovino." He murmured softly. "I love you." The words felt strangely vulnerable when he said them here, although he knew he'd say them over and over if Lovino asked. The white snow and the relative solitude from the rest of Lovino's family and the quiet made everything feel almost exposed, peaceful. -

How was your school day??
Lovino smiled then, a real, unabashed smile simply because he was happy. Happy that he trusted Antonio enough to be truly happy around him, with him. "I love you." He took his hands and squeezed gently, looking up at the way his curls swayed gently in the winter wind, snowflakes catching on his eyelashes the same way they had I the mall parking lot, making green eyes look even brighter next to the tiny flickers of white. "Antonio, I love you," he said again, and for some reason it seemed to mean more than the other times he said it. "I...I want us to last." He admitted quietly, gaze flitting away in a moment of shyness. "You make me feel like I'm worth loving." -

It was alright! It was pretty relaxed today and I'm home now so I'm hoping today won't be too bad haha
Antonio looked back at him, his own smile returning in full force when he saw Lovino smiling back. His cheeks were red, maybe from the wind, and Antonio was startled to realize that he had dimples that he'd never noticed before. At Lovino's words he once again cursed his complete and utter lack of truly romantic instinct, biting his lip. He remembered what he'd told him before, about saying what he felt, and decided that that was probably his best bet. He paused, before speaking quietly, hesitantly, wanting the words to come out right. "I think... I think I'd like to spend my whole life with you, if that's what you wanted." He said. He looked away as he spoke, cheeks heating up, not really knowing if it was romantic, but knowing it was the truth. This seemed like an appropriate place to say something so strangely blatant, in the cold, sharp air, surrounded by white and silence. -

Lovino looked up at him, lips pursed and eyes wide, staring at Antonio as if he'd just told him he'd won the lottery. And he sort of felt like he did. "...I do want that." He replied with a small nod, leaning up on his toes to press their foreheads together. "All my love," he breathed, the warmth of his exhale making a tiny white cloud swirl into the crisp air, right before he pulled him into a long kiss. -

At first Lovino's startled look scared Antonio the tiniest bit, afraid he'd said something wrong. At his reply, however, Antonio felt like a hundred things he had been worrying about unraveled, and he might float away. His eyes fluttered shut when Lovino kissed him, sweet and sentimental rather than teasing or rough like they usually had been. His arms went around him, holding him like he was something precious that might fly away if he didn't hold onto gently. He took a deep breath when they separated, eyes still closed, a small smile etched into his features. "Todo de mi amor." He breathed. He hugged him slightly tighter. "Por toda mi vida." -

Lovino hugged him tightly, caught between laughing and crying and settling for just burying his face into Antonio's jacket. He stood like that for a long time, just latched onto him, enjoying his arms and hair and eyes and scent and voice and everything about the man who'd just said he wanted them to spend their lives together. It was perfect. So perfect that he didn't even care (much) when Roma poked his head out to say that it was time for dinner, simply leaning up to peck Antonio softly. -

Antonio hummed softly, the dumb smile on his face feeling like it might never leave, holding Lovino tightly and burying his face in his hair. He hadn't even realized how long they'd been standing there before Roma poked his head out and called out to them, although Antonio didn't move away from Lovino. He kissed Lovino back quickly, before taking his hand and stepping away slightly, pulling him towards the door. He was a little hesitant, but also knew they'd probably stand there until they froze to death if Roma didn't interrupt them. "Let's go in," he said quietly. "I'd be awfully upset if 'for the rest of my life' was only until we froze out here." -

Lovino took his hand and held it close, but not the suffocatingly tight way he usually did. He felt a little more at ease now, and he was almost reluctant to leave the snow-covered deck, knowing that it would mean the moment was over. But dinner with his family sounded nice too, so he sighed and nodded and tried not to look too much like he felt like he was floating. "Mm, that would be disappointing." He agreed with a small exhale. He let his mind wander into just what forever mean, blushing a bit when the thought of actually getting married crossed his mind. -

Antonio hummed acknowledgment as the went back inside. Feliciano immediately raised an eyebrow at the two, something that Antonio was finding becoming increasingly frequent. But he didn't say anything other than 'you certainly look happy, fratello,' before skipping away to the dining room. Antonio had the vague suspicion that they probably both looked equally dazed, although he couldn't bring himself to be bothered by it at the moment, not really caring what they'd thought Antonio and Lovino had been doing. He sat down at the table, pulling out the chair next to him with his foot for Lovino to sit in. Dinner was already spread across the table, much more food than Antonio was used to seeing in one place. He squeezed Lovino's hand again, his focus still distant and somewhat in the clouds. -

Lovino couldn't even bring himself to bristle at the teasing, merely sticking his tongue out rather childishly at Feliciano when he skipped by. He hated to admit it, but Feli seemed happier too, with that blonde wall of muscle here to occupy him. It really did feel like they were a family. A broken, dysfunctional, Spanish-Italian-German family, sure, but a family nonetheless, and Lovino had a sense of completion that he hadn't felt since the day he'd lost his parents. He sat down with a tiny hint of a smile. "Let's eat then, you a--holes." He said with a firm nod, and that was all it took for everyone to begin digging in. -

Antonio laughed, reaching for the food, and soon he had delicious food piled on his dish, so much he wasn't sure he could eat it all. The atmosphere was so purely, completely comfortable and happy and festive that Antonio wished with a burning passion that it could always be like this, or at least feel like this. He wanted his brother and mom to feel it too, to feel like a real family after his dad had left. He kept glancing back over to Lovino as well, sometimes just to have the pure pleasure of looking at him. He must not have been very subtle, either, because Feliciano seemed to take interest. "Gosh, what's gotten into you two?" He asked, leaning on his elbow with a wide, childish smile. "Fratello, you didn't even blush when I teased. Did you propose or something? Because this is just too much for the holiday spirit, if you ask me." Antonio went red at the words, realizing the parallel between his question and what they'd spoken about. It hadn't even occurred to him. -

Lovino blushed very nicely then, scowling at Feli. "Oh be quiet, am I not allowed to have a good day? Maybe I'm just glad my boyfriend's the best one here." He grinned, leaning over to plant a sloppy kiss on Antonio's cheek, making Feliciano wrinkle his nose and laugh. "Ew, Lovi! Not at the table! Besides, Lud's the best. Er, no offense Antonio." Feli replied with a chuckle. Roma rolled his eyes. "And to think I was looking forward to grandchildren," he sighed dramatically, lamenting as he chewed his turkey. -

Antonio laughed, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere at the table. "Sorry, I think Lovi is the best." He hummed, leaning over and kissing Lovino on the cheek, as well. "Er, well, maybe not for grandchildren." He amended with another chuckle, giving Roma and apologetic look. He had to agree with Lovino though, it was a very good day. It was by far the best Christmas in years, and Antonio's hand went up to the cross at his neck almost unconsciously, before he quickly dropped it, smiling and picking at his food more. This was much better. -
